To you couple others that haven't had any movement at all since around the 10-12th. Check your window stickers and see if their available.
I finally got moved yesterday to somewhere, can view window sticker now, so it seems we're getting somewhere now, after sitting for however long waiting on who knows what... |

Just checked mine and it is now on 'hold'.
No window sticker yet, but checked a few by it and they all had stripes in common. Don't know if this is the delay, just fishing for an answer. Oh well. I'll keep eating my popcorn.

Okay, so I can see the sticker now. I followed it on CSX but it has stopped in Salem, Ill for 2 days. I tried calling Union Pacific but I can' get the automated system to respond using the car intials and number that I used for CSX. Does anyone know how to use the BNSF system? It asks for a secure login.
Holy Crap, I really hate ordering instead of buying off the lot! Last edited by texan; 09-24-2009 at 12:12 PM. |

try calling Union Pacific 1-800-877-5123 and this system is very sensitive to outside noise. Gotta call somewhere quiet ________________________ 2SS/RS IOM/IO Int/M6/Blk Rallys |

Im so sick of waiting for this car. The dealer has told me all week it should already be here. Its been 3 hours away in the railyard in Chicago since the weekend. Says its on on truck now but cant find any movement with AAG. Dealer said he was positive it went out yesterday morning on a truck from the railyard but when I track it nothing is available. I bet the dealer doesnt know what hes talking about and its still sitting in the railyard waiting to fill the truck.

I'm tired now too and it's taking the excitement out of all this. 5 months is a long time to wait for a car. I know......what's a couple more days.......(as he breathes a sigh of exhaustion)...I can wait. My dealer is tired of hearing from me so I've stopped calling. Not that I call every day, only twice this week, Monday then yesterday. |

Yes the final wait really sucks. I waited 10 days to get the stripes on the car and then once it was done it arrived at my dealer in one day.
I guess with shipping, unfortunately the finances are what determine the logistics - not necessarily just getting it to the customer asap. 5 months is a long time to wait - I must agree. I ordered on 8/13 and had the car to my in less than 40 days. I almost feel guilty about that fact and those that have waited so long. I however dont have the car - it is being taken to my tuner in Illinois to have work done to it - so next weekend I will drive 1k miles and trailer it back. By the time I touch my car for the first time most of you will also have done the same. Keep the patience - it is worth it. |

After at least 20 tries the UP system responded. My Texas draw ain't that bad..
The estimated delivery to institution (I mean industry) is 9/27 11AM. I wonder if institution means the dealership or looney bin where the rail car spins in circles and stops pointing in some direction and flips a coin to get on another train or moves to car hauler. Oh well, progress I guess. Last edited by texan; 09-24-2009 at 05:20 PM. |
