i think my wife is going to come for a while, she wont stay all day as its not her thing. i hope we can have a good turn out. i will look to get there around seven, find out where there are going to put us and save spots for those i know that are going to come. so make sure you let me know if you are coming and i will do what i can to hold spots. i know its a long way for most, but if you can make it great if not i understand. i dont make many that are over by des moines. ordered some new stuff for under the hood today, may have new hood as well by show (crossing fingers).

hello all will anyone be going up to strikers or premier bowling alley in pleasanthill tom afternoon ? local car enthusiasts hang out there mostly older cars but quite a few newer cars too i will be there starts at 5 goes till 8 !

Hey Des Moines 5-gen's, There is a new place to hang out on Saturdays. The Maid-Rite in Johnston, Iowa 8789 Northpark Court has been having cars nights for the last couple of months. It normally starts around 5PM and runs to closing at 8:00PM. Been having a turnout of 8-15 cars, and would like to see some more 5th gens. This is just off 86th Street across from the theaters, just off the interstate 80. They have car of the week and limited door prizes, for those who attend. Hope to see some of you.

Hot weather ! Hot racing ! Hot women ! Cold beer ! NHRA at Joliet was awesome . Not the fastest times but lots of close races and upsets. Got pics with Erica Enders, Courtney Force,Spencer Massey, LE Tonglet. And the back of me standing by Don Garlits !!! Makes me wanna race. Brainerd next month. Pics will be on my FB page.

And also..... Jerry Bickel race cars is building a Gen 5 Camaro for Greg Stanfeild for Pro Stock. Cant wait to see race.

Hey ! GoodGuys is gonna be in Joliet in August. They are gonna let all american made cars of any year in on Sunday of that week. Sounds like we can do autocross and a track ride. I'm gonna try to get there for that. Anyone else interested ? It would be cool to see a Gen 5 invasion at GoodGuys !!!
