lol - I love you you think I would ever consider a SC!

Actually, one shop told me that the low end power isn't as good with the 1 7/8", so they recommend the 1 3/4". The second shop told me there is no loss in power at the low end and they recommend the 1 7/8".

yes, but there is a concern if the springs on the SMartCar can support it.

well no progress on the car today so I will not be driving it. Sorry. You will just have my company, not my car. Oh well.

A lot of my buddies went with 2" headers. I will be going with 1 7/8.

Have you looked at these? http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...mbered+exhaust

I like the high flow cats included. They might work real well with the cat back system I just had done. As far as diameters of pipes, the others will have to help you with that. I'm just learning this stuff as I read about it.

I just talked to Kooks. They recommended the 1 7/8" system. I'm getting another quote from IPS now for the Kooks 6511-Complete system.

well... why close that door if I don't have to?

PS: I got a price on a supercharger today for the fun of it. I won't be getting one until at least next year.

I just had an exchange with Ted at Jannetty Racing. He said to just go with a set of good headers and keep the stock exhaust. He was very helpful.

BTW, I took the box with my CAI intake in it out to my car. It won't fit in the trunk! I put it in the passenger seat. Good thing I'm flying solo tomorrow. I'm assuming I don't need to bring any tools?

That is what I am doing. Headers and stock exhaust... He's a smart guy this Ted.

Nope, I think between Doug's shop and Randy's hammers we have everyting we need to force... I mean... install your CAI into place.

You guys created a "Mod Monster". I am think of a Pro-charger or supercharger as well. Probably a little ways out to make sure all else is ready.

I will be there probably around 1:00 tomorrow. have that CAI ready.
