Nice to see all this...Just spoke with a guy here in Charlotte about the same exhaust setup and hopefully taking her today. SS donor and magnaflow x pipe, planning on the resonator delete and leave the H pipe for redundancy. He is dirt cheap and close. Looking at the BBK's next. Already got the Airaid V2.

Keep us posted!!!

latest update, the challenger tune isn't reliable enough to have another car in the shop, she's going back in today actually to be retuned...stalling out at red lights and getting CEL's that cause limp mode on the highway is no damn fun. Should be sorted out soon....the growing pains of having 1 serious tuner for a car and it being hand held, with so many adaptives most folks, even Diablo don't know what they do.

I sure as hell hope it's not going to be like this with a trifecta tune!!! I doubt the complexity of the tuning needed are anywhere as bad as my challengers compared to the camaro. But once the camaro goes under the knife, I'll let you guys know

So I'm replacing the silver stripes with white stripes with a blue pinstripe around it...red, white and blue. And I think I want to replace the LS3 cans with a set of magnaflow axle backs to change the sound up a little bit. Eibach sways are in her future too!

challenger rwhp #'s dyno, and we added another 350rpm over this dyno with a new trans controller, so est. another 40rwhp with a 6600rpm redline now

just need to get the reliability issues hashed out, and the camaro is next!

Really.....700HP and 600 or so TQ at the wheels? Am I reading that correctly.....holy crapola lol.

IF you do replace the SS mufflers with magnaflows, PLEASE o PLEASE get me a video of that lol. It would basically be like an exact replica of what my car would be with BBK LTs (which I'm thinking about doing in the future), but I'm worried the resonated X does such a good job taming rasp and burble, that its going to cancel out a lot of the "rumble" the BBKs add to an exhaust note that I love so much.

Thanks for the update!

How was working with Trifecta on the turbo tune? obviously going to need them to get the head tune right myself

Looks like he's got it worked out for 9-10 psi on the STS kit. For the twin turbos it looks like he'll have to tweak some more to get them to that level. He's basically waiting on me or IPS to send him logs to finalize that tune. I so tied up with work right now I just can't do it, so IPS will probably be the first.

If I'm understanding the issue correctly, the MAF relearn is not handling the higher CFM from the twins. He did a quick remap on mine to get me from 3 to 4.5 psi, but I started having issues again at 6 psi. He seemed to think it was easy to fix, but he wants to see several logs (regular driving and WOT) first.

Since your increased air flow will be after the MAF, you will probably need him to remap yours as well.

There's is one of the trifecta sactioned tuners down in VA beach, which is about an hour away from Richmond where my builder and the dyno shop they like to use are from this guy....wonder if Vince will have me get this guy to come up or if he will try to do dyno runs and listen in over the phone or whatever. I'll either contact Vince soon or have my builder contact him and figure out the best solution for tuning. thanks for the heads up

No problem. I've always done the dynos in shop that have wireless internet connections. That way I just shoot him an email with the log(s) and he emails the tune back. BE SURE to give him some advanced notification before you plan to do the dyno, to make sure he isn't going to be out of the office or working with someone else.

good idea, just sent out a email to him to see what his thoughts were on the increased flow rate and how to get this done.

I went back and did a quick search on trifecta....why are most of those threads locked out? is there a vendor issue with trifecta or his distributors?
