Damn rolnslo, you got some really nice shots!

You know I want a copy of the ones you got of mine since I can't take pictures of it while I'm driving. I like the one of my small burn out, both wheels do smoke a little with an V6/A6.


We had a great time and it was cool to meet a few more C5 members and put faces with user names.

By the way, since Mike had the other stock v6's gunning for me for some reason, I decided to change my avatar.

You were the only one committed to running... I wanted the V6 guys out there whooping it up... and that's exactly what happened... Congrats... you get to be top dog for a year.

Time for some new headers so we can start a new V6 class with DevilDoc and BaylorAirForce next year...

First of all, this was a very fun event. I had never been on a drag strip in my life, but it was extremely fun. Here are a couple vids and a bunch of pics.

KP MOVN Smokes me... but it was my second best of the night, and my reaction time actually was quicker than hers, but I had my RPM too low and couldn't carry it:

Thanks to jrrod for the recommendations on launching. I didn't use launch control at all, and started getting the hang of it as the night went on. Considering it was the first time I'd ever raced, I feel pretty good about my performance. Anyone see things from the video that I might be able to do better?

I am 100% in for the next time there is an event like this.

TX Pony Killer, Glad you had a good time. Didn't get to meet you but looks like you did pretty good for your first time. Adrenaline was running so high that I missed a few people. Just keep practicing cause that M6 is not easy to launch. Just start working your rpm's up little by little till you find the sweet spot I might head out to Baytown or Sealy this weekend depending on the weather. I'm ready to break in the new tires

Hey Mike,

If your posting the best tmes and speeds from qualifying and finals, then the times you have for the stock v6 is wrong. My first and only qualifying run was 14.3841 @ 96.82

OK... I've fixed it... The sheet I had showed GoPaul. Test and Tune does not count... Most of us did 3 qualifying runs.

I think you better produce a timeslip for that one...

I posted it in the v6 1/4 mile fast pass thread here under drag racing with photo. I only made 2 test n tune runs and one qualifying run then eliminations.
