Thanks for all your replies and info. Sad to say that its more than you get from the folks (Generous Motors) collecting 45K for this thing. I just had an update from GMConnects.com They say it was shipped....again...3/9. The dealer also sent me an email. Seems they called the business center and was informed it was still at the plant in Oshua as of yesterday. This is contrary to what has been updated but who knows. To GM its just another piece of iron some poor schmuck is going to take a bath on. Hopefully, It'll be a fun bath.

It was probably better when there was no Internet and no minute-to-minute updates. Type A personalities like mine didn't like it but it somehow was easier when the doggone thing just appeared one day on a truck. If I needed instant gratification I should have bought one from dealer stock.

OK, for those of you watching amy VIN is 165 something, I see they have stamped out 170 something already. I will let you know when mine lands in Texas.

02/24/2011 - (3800) Order produced and vehicle is being prepared for shipping. For Cadillac, GMC and Buick customers, please contact your dealer or customer service for further updates as no further updates available at this time.
02/24/2011 - (4000) Vehicle available to ship.
02/24/2011 - (4104) Bailment invoice created (vehicle is about to leave plant property).
02/24/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
02/28/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.
03/01/2011 - (4300) Interm transfer. Processing transfer to QC or vendor.
03/01/2011 - (4200) Shipped (vehicle is shipped to the dealer or interim point of delivery).
03/01/2011 - (4B00) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by truck, rail or transfer to vendor.

After all this frustration, it will be so worth it!! Sorry for the confusion
with the repeated shipped and bayed codes, it's hard to follow. I like
your comments about the internet and you are probably right, we were
better off when it just showed up Just hang in there, everything will
be just fine.

but at this point it's probably unlikely. Seeing 3400

At this point the status will change and progress to
a 3400 status. That will be just ahead of your Target
Production Week of 3/28. Sometime during that week
your car should be built, and if everything goes well
you should have it a couple of weeks after that.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place or not here but I'll give it a go. I ordered a GMC Terrain on 2/24. I got my order number from my dealer today and just did a search. It said my order could not be found. Am I jumping the gun here (tracking to soon after ordering) or do you think he didn't get the orer number right? The number he gave me was PNDV32
