No, this is just the rattle can stuff (though for doing hoods and larger surfaces, I'd be better off with a power sprayer ... just don't have one!). I don't have the stuff to do hydro-dipping either.

It has been interesting learning the hard way what to do and not to do.

I spent a quiet day at home. I took Ruby Too out on the deck & spent some time helping her shed her winter coat (what a mess), then helped Mike put yet another huge sticker on his car. That is why I call him the sticker king. Oh well, it is his Camaro. Beddie bye time for me now. Rest well friends.

Good morning. It is a chilly morning but supposed to warm up nicely like yesterday. I dreamed all night about my silly build thread. Seems like I was despirate for something to think about. LOL This morning I needed to hold on to my cup of coffee more than I needed to drink it. My hands were soooooooooooo cold. But I did finally drink it. Well since I dreamed about it all night, I guess I'll do some more work on the build thread before getting up & at 'um this morning. Have a good Sunday crew.

Nice work so far on the build thread Janice. Yesterday was a nice sunny day here with seasonable temps so we took the Camaro out when we ran some errands. There is rain in the forecast the rest of the week so it will probably stay in the garage this week. I don't mind this rain as there is a lot of salt residue on the roads so this rain should wash that away. After that the Camaro will resume it's DD role for the summer.

It's a long weekend for me as I took tomorrow off to go to opening day in Cleveland. I may as well enjoy it as things will be getting busy at work as one of my coworkers is taking a new job and will be leaving us in 2 weeks. I am happy for her but I will miss working with her and I am sure it will take a few weeks to find and train her replacement.

It has been raining non stop nearly all weekend, and it's supposed to continue. Yuck. Sabrina dropped Coco off about noon yesterday. Coco was so excited to see Axel. Sabrina looked at me and said "Now I understand why Coco always wants to play with German Shepherds at the dog park!" LOL! My only plans for the day are to go get my hair done. It should be interesting getting there, I just saw on the news that 3 out of 5 lanes on the freeway are closed for road work. Guess I need to leave early, huh??

I worked some more on the build journal this morning then we spent some time working on my truck. "Daddy's Girl" got a new grill & the engine bay cleaned some. Here are a few before & after pics:

Nice work. That's a good looking truck.

Got up to 90 here today. Worked in the yard until noon, then started fine-tuning the Chevelle. Had the original distributor rebuilt and recurved and I'm back to using points. Had to dust off my dwell-tach and my Craftsman engine analyzer. Still have some experimenting to do, but it's all trial and error.

Glad I remembered the proper adjustment sequence; dwell, idle, timing, idle. Sure does bring back memories.

Right now long range forcast has a nice day for our drag race & car show this weekend. I hope it holds out. I'm getting excited. HAGD all.
