Too funny! We love to go cruising and so do our girls. Our youngest is always asking daddy when he gets home from work if we can go for a ride.

Is your husband one of those people who doesn't like cars and only sees them as a mode for transportation? My neighbor, for instance, could care less what he drives. As long as it runs. Our car doesn't do anything for him. His wife, however, is a different story. She LOVES our car. My other neighbor confessed to me the other day that he likes to just look at our car because it's so beautiful and that he wished it was his. He's from Russia/Eastern Block and has a thick accent. He gives me the creeps. I'm glad we keep it garaged at night.

It's looking like next Friday is going to be sunny. We'll have to wait and see how the weather progresses this week. If it's nice, we will be at K-Mart.

I somewhat agree about cruise ins in general. We attend the Milford Kroger cruise in a lot and as the years go one, I get less and less interested. Sme cars over and over.

Now, doing things like we do, where you actually get to sociallize with other, not just look at the cars, is more fun in my opinion. I think we have a nice size group of friends here and Drew and I were just talking the other day about how we are looking forward to the 23rd.

Next Saturday, weather permitting, I will be attending the SCCA thing at Turfway if anyone is interested in coming. Notgoing to run the SS. Just want to go check it out and see if I may be interested in getting back into it. It can get expensive but its fun!

Especially now since i have confirmed w/ greg greenwood (greenwood chevy) and sweeny as of 2 days ago who stated that they will NOW DEFINITELY honor g.m.s. simply because of the struggling car market. so w/ that said they called me today and stated that it may be in on mon. or tue. of next week. we'll see
I bought mine off the lot at Diane Sauers in the middle of March 2010 & they gave me GMS.

Why does it have to freaking rain every weekend! Geez! This totally stinks. I had to drive hubby's Durango to the store this morning. That was depressing.

If you dont they will turn a dark purpleish brown. If you do they will stay more chrome looking but may yellow a little over time... so I have heard. I think they coated ones also offer more heat protection under the hood but i dont think its necessay. I dont even know if mine are or not... LOL.

We drove ours once in the rain on a road trip back from my parents right after we bought it. Never again. It took me the entire next day to detail it. What a chore that was! So now, she's garaged when it's raining or snowing unless I have to pick the kids up at school. Heck, I even look at the 10 day forecast when scheduling doctor and hair appoints to make sure there is no chance of rain when scheduling the appointment. I know I'm bad. I have OCCD (Obsessive Clean Camaro Disorder)

Boo hoo- I had to take Merlin out in the rain today to go to church since my husband has my van in DC. Guess I'll be doing some serious cleaning, prostock69, as I have OCCD, too!

Technically I don't know what the Camaro puts down right now b/c I did some mods and changed some things around and havent had it tuned or dynoed since so I am not 100% sure what it is but the Mustang dynoed 467HP last week! As soon as the headers go on (hopefully this week) I am getting the Camaro tuned and dynoed again so I will have numbers on both. I am hoping for the 410-420 range for the Camaro with the mods I have. Seems to be what others are getting with similar stuff.
