I've never had a Facebook, so I'm assuming that's a Facebook game. :P What's the fine print? You have to send them back in three months, at your cost, or they charge you the full price, plus a $1000 "convenience fee," right? :O

Yep that's a facebook game. All they are asking is that I report back how the tires work for me, how they wear, pictures of them on the car going fun places like Sturgis...
I had them mounted and balanced yesterday plus had them change out the tire monitors. They feel good, it doesn't seem like the road grabs me and pulls me around as much as the pirellis.

How much was it for the new TPMS sensors? Mine are still good but I don't know how long the batteries are supposed to last.

$5.00 per wheel. They recommend changing them when you get new tires.

I'm over-estimating a lot of the travel times for cases such as food/gas/piss stops.

Hello from TEXAS!!

The H-Town Camaro Club is sending 4 Camaros up to Sturgis (three 5th Gens and a 2nd Gen). Plans are for us to pick up a few more out of the Dallas area!

Our group will leave Houston Monday evening and drive to Dallas for the night and meet up with the Dallas crew Tuesday morning.....then driving into Nebraska for the night. Wednesday, will take twisty roads thru the famous Nebraska Sand Hills on the way into Sturgis that afternoon.

Anyway - look forward to meeting all you guys/gals from the Washington area and having a few "pops" ! If you see me...don't be shy and please come and say HI!!

Have a safe trip!

FYI - The Houston group has rented a house in Sturgis. We also have hotel rooms booked at the Holiday Inn. We have held onto our rooms at the Holiday Inn just in case something goes wrong with the house rental. Chances are we will be cancelling our hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn a day before the Rally, so there may be some rooms opening up. If you are dying to stay there, check with them several times a day on the 26th.

So are most people staying at the Quality Inn in Spokane and the Holiday Inn in Billings? We will arrive in Spokane well after everyone else and don't want to get left behind the next morning. Mike was our main contact but now that he isn't going we don't really have anyone else's numbers or anything. We are also staying at the Days Inn in Sturgis which is right across the street from the host hotel. Is anyone else staying there? Just want to make sure we are accounted for with the main group, wouldn't be much fun to cruise that far all alone lol.

I'm booked in Sturgis across the street. Thanks though.

Also, "pop?" Really? Isn't that more of a mid-west thing? I've heard out-of-staters refer to it mockingly of Washingtonians, but most people I know call it soda. :P

I'm at the Quality Inn in Spokane 6.25-6.26, then Billings Holiday Inn 6.26-6.27, and finally Sturgis Super8 6.27-6.30. I'll roll with you if you're lonely. :P

Okay, I like the itinerary for the most part, but why are you leaving Sturgis so early? There's still stuff going on that day. :`(

I think he was talking about beer - you know, people from outside of WA don't know what a good beer is, so they call it pop... LOL!!

Some people have to be back to work sooner than others.... I will probably head out of Livingston even earlier, have to drop Ladybug off at the shop before they close.... I already have a detailing/paint touch up appointment so she can be show ready before the 7th!
