I get it back tomorrow. Had a minor issue with the cutouts. All will be resolved in the morning, then it hits the dyno for about an hour of tweaking. Then I'm bringing it home. I'll get more pics of the camera and mirror then too.

We did the camera while the car was at the shop. They had a drill bit the right size to make the hole for my camera. Also I asked them to run the wire from your harness down the A-pillar for me because they intalled a gauge pod there (I didn't want to mess up the wires to the gauges).

The guys in the shop were playing with the camera. I had to explain to them how your harness worked and that the green wire was hot when the car is in reverse. They were glad to have that info.

Finally got mine installed. Noticed mine and most of the ones installed with pictures on this thread have the camera mounted off center (drivers side of center of bumper). Any reason for this?

Thanks,
Taz

The actual space is also off center, I centered mine up and it overlaps the right brake light just a little bit.

Yeah I just left mine a little off can't tell it much. Will be over your neck of the woods in the middle of September for vacation. Wished I could have my camaro there but what the heck.

Installed mine today, was a breeze to do. Mine is a bit to the left as well, my guess is becasue I did not have to cut, my 2011 had a tab that popped out. The camera was not made for the Camaro, so my guess is it's slightly different. While I notice it's slightly off center, nobody else will! I'm not bothered, I love the camera, works great.
