I've stalled mine 3 times so far, and I came from 2-1/2 years of driving a manual 2010!

I think the verts need more gas to get the momentum going, or it's a clutch burn-in issue.

Well chevy customer service is telling me that it was delivered to the dealership, and my dealership said its not there and they cant even find me any information on where it is. I hate bad dealerships, only reason i ordered from this one is i knew the sales person, then he left like a week after i ordered my car lol.

Well I'm glad it's not only me(+2!

I think it may be a burn in issue because I've been noticing that 'smell' it has gotten less noticeable after 2 days, so I'm hoping it's not me noobing out and just a burn in for the clutch..

One thing I'm hatin' is that occasional first to fourth shift w/lockout, what a pain in the A$$.

Anybody getting a rough idle on the V8/manual? feels like they slipped a racing cam into my engine when no one was looking...

The idle is pretty low/rough on our cars. It's designed that way, but some people prefer to add 100-200 rpm to idle when getting a custom tune to smooth it out.

What dealer? Mine was the same (Malouf) - I was notified that it had arrived, I went down there and saw it in the back. Took some pics and then went around front to the salesman and asked him when is my car going to be ready? He looked at me like I had 3 heads.

Good morning to all! So yesterday I went down to pick up my car from the dealership and ran into so much problems. 1st the car was not ready because they were still doing the inspection before it was handed over to me

. Anyways I was all cool with that. Then they came and told me that an error came up while the diagnostic was being done and that the computer module needs to be replaced. At this point my temper is rising

. He said it would take two days for the part to come in and be put on. Ok, I waited almost 2 months; I can wait 2 more days. So I then asked if I can see it. He took me in the back to look at it and the first thing I noticed was that the front license plate bracket was mounted. I was like, WTF

! “I didn’t tell yall to put that on”. (No front license plate for the state of GA) Of all the cars on the lot and they decided to put the front license plate bracket on mine, the only car on the lot. So at this point I’m really heated now

, I told them to take it off. So now they have to take it off, fill the holes in and then repaint the bumper. They offered me 6 months of free maintenance but I said now, I want it off. Now I have to wait almost another week before I can get it. I’m still pissed off today.
Do you think I should’ve taken the 6 months of maintenance or just have it removed?
Also, I was under the impression that the stability bar came on the 2SS 45th edition, because mine sure didn’t. I’m I wrong?

Sorry to hear of your troubles. That really sucks. I'm no authority, but I read somewhere on C5 forum that the stabalizer bar only comes with the verts. It was a surprise to me when I lifted the hood for the first time.

Oh no! What have they done to my twin?!

Depending on how much you drive, I'd rather have them patch the bumper (if you have to choose), although they should give you both since it was their mistake!

Well my car wasnt at the dealership like chevy support had told me. Called them back now they say its still in production. When i told the guy it was built a month ago he was really confused. Put me on hold for another 20 minutes, finally came back to tell me that its still in production with no date of arrival being set yet, what a nightmare this is becoming to be, at this rate there will be a foot of snow on the ground before i get the dam car haha. O well time to save up more for parts i guess!
