With all the attention GM has been receiving from the media and "The Letter" to dealers I find it hard to believe the media would not jump on this!

Maybe the media is tied in with the dealership. "Money talks and walks". Keep spreading the experience throughout town, I did my part and sent the story to GM Canada, for what it's worth. I continually talk about it with friends, family & neighbours.

Corbin is a small town that falls right in the middle of the television market for Knoxville, TN and Lexington, KY. I think that people who live there get both. It's about an hour and half drive either way, which makes it a little long for them to go do a human interest type story, especially if they have enough news to report in Knoxville or Lexington. I talked to one of my co- workers who's dating a reporter for the ABC affiliate in Lexington about this story and that was her verdict, anyway. Basically, it's fallen through the cracks as far as the media is concerned. It's just not a big enough story for them.

Now, if the dealership were to burn down to the ground...

Very similiar thing happened to me. I also ordered from Falls Auto Group back in October. About a month ago they called wanting me to give them a NON refundable cash deposit of $5,000. They told me this was to put the car into production and that this $ would be above sticker. A couple of days later they call and said they would do me a favor since I ordered early and I only had to bring them $3,000.

Wished I had ordered from a reputable dealership. Had I known then what I know now.

Honestly guys, it sounds like this dealer is in financial problems. They are probably not square on their floor plan. Which is why they want the $$. And the Camaro is the only car they can demand a premium for right now.

You are gonna have to take more serious action. Start by going to a more reputable dealer and ordering a new one. Then call the GM District Manager and tell him what happened. When you get your Camaro go back to the original dealership and tell them to kiss your ass.

I called GM and they said they couldn't do anything
I would have thanked them for their time and said I will be buying a Camaro spanking Mustang GT500. and writing a letter to my senator asking them to no longer support
any future GM bailouts!!!

Appology to all that I have offended. Although probably will not be accepted. Toothpaste is awfully hard to get back into the tube after you let it come out. Appology nevertheless. Any positive suggestions would be appreciated. All inferences suggested are well understood by myself. "OLD TIMER".
