Idk, i kind of like the 14's 1LE. Wish these changes were out back in 2010 would have gotten a 1LE and kept it.

I love our '14. Looks pretty muscular to me, even the back end. I guess I just really like the refresh.

Thanks Adrian! I used a Dremel to cut the posts off and then 3M very high bond trim tape. So far, so good.

I did not read through the 200 plus replies sorry, so sorry if someone already suggested this, just too much lol. You might recognize me from replying to some of your other threads. However, when I read your post on this one, I gained more insight. I know you set your mind to a convertible '13. But you can do things to make your car more to your liking. Such as , your black stripes can be removed and replaced with red/orange etc. Strip kits are not very expensive. Removing old stripes and replacing them is not that hard to someone experienced with decal removal and installation. Try shopping for Camaro stripes more to your liking, and try contacting some auto detainers, body shops, or sign companies, as both most likely have dealt with this. This option would probably be less expensive than having your dealer do it. I have done it myself many times even on a $250,000 Plymouth Superbird. Not sure how far you are from Youngstown, Ohio, but I would be happy to help you. Throwing a few more dollars at you car to make it more appealing, is certainly a n option at this point. Ken

Well we've talked about your situation in your other thread, so you know how I feel about you jumping deeper an deeper into an upside-down loan situation... It just isn't smart. That aside, aren't the 15s and the 14s essentially the same cars appearance wise? What makes you think you would like a 15 any more than a 14? Maybe you can get into a 12 or 13 and knock down that ridiculous $7K over value loan you have. You definitely have no appreciation for what you need vs. what you want.

If you're really unhappy with it, I would go for a "badass" look. Plastidip the whole thing matte black! It looks f'in mean! Window tint too. It would look awesome. I have a summit white which I like the look of a lot especially after I dipped the wheels and did the mirrors and door handles in plastidip. But I still think of how awesome matte black looks on the whole body. The shape of these cars really looks killer when blacked out!
It would cost you about 500bucks to dip the whole car and there are photos to looks at ahead of time to make sure it's what you want. J |

i spent $500 on ceramic tint on all windows inculding windshield $20 on Reflective Concepts 3D carbon fiber overlays for front, back, and steering wheel bowties -- only appearance mod on my car.
Look through the Summit White thread for ideas.

I actually like the visual appearance of 2014 - 2015 versions of the camaro better than the 2010-13. The fused tail lights look great. Just buy a version that doesn't come with any vinyls pre-installed and buy some after market and apply yourself or with a friend for a 1/3 of the price of the dealer. That's what I did and turned out great

Only thing I hate is replacing front rotors every 4 months.. Yup, I'm on my 3rd set & the dealer made it clear that they are no longer giving me free replacements. I'm considering buying aftermarket rotors to see if they last longer. I drive very calm & gradually slow to stops... I'm at my witts end with this re-occurring issue.
