The factory stopped putting the badges on there about two months ago.

GM removed the badges a few months back as focus began to shift towards the individual brands rather than GM as a whole. All Camaros produced before that date had the badges installed.

Mine doesn't and I've seen a bunch that do have em.

Just curious,

I got my car 2 days ago and it doesn't have it on there... Personally, I like it like that. I had seen them in pictures and had planned to take them off ASAP!

Glad I didn't have to!

Me too. I think that they kill the lines and make it look like a damn cookie cutter Cobalt. lmao

Hey, sorry I didn't search for it.

Tough love I guess.

Deebo - are you sure about your VIN #?

My car (rear suspension decal), shows a 9:41 AM time on 9/11 and my VIN is 456XX. That would put 2 cars on the line with VINs 9,000 apart only a few hours apart. I didn't think they did that. BWTFDIK

ooops, what I meant to say is that only the 'with chicklet' cars will have the explosive value! They will be super hard to find and will be obvious since they have the clean 'discless' clean bumper in the back. If you can get your hands on one of these rare early versions, do it!

Mine is a RP6 code car built in the first 5000 it has them on. I believe they stop putting them on because of the mud flaps GMP were offering.

Decals on the suspension are when Martin Rea MADE THE SUSPENSION. It has NOTHING, ZERO, NADA to do with your vehicle's "born-on" date.

PS QC is alot better today that many years ago... I have bought several GM cars in the last few years and none had anything missing or loose when i picked them up...
I remember back in '84 my Grandmother bought a breand new Mercury Capri right off the lot.

We had it for a while. I was happy to be 12 and washing it in hopes of one day rollin it. (5.0l)...

One day washing it I noticed that the rear hatch emblems had "Mustang" (not "Mercury") on the far left and "Capri" on the far right.

I told my Granddpa and to this day he still thinks that it was me and my friends pulling a prank.

Grandma sold the car...it was "too fast" and got "horrible gas mileage."

But I thought it was awesome that someone in QC let that one slide.
