Minor update. Got all the auxiliaries wired up. Needed ignition source for Hobbs switch, scavenge pump, water pump, and the flex fuel sensor. I added an auxiliary fuse block to provide a clean solution to this. Since swapped from the 6l80 to the tr6060, I used the TCM ignition 20 amp circuit to run it. No fuse taps, pinned directly from the X3 connector in the main fuse box. Since real estate is limited and don’t want to see any of this, I designed and printed a mount that attaches it to the brake lines. Picture attached. Still a bit of wiring left. I will tidy it up when finished.

Also got all the vacuum done. Hobbs, wastegates, BOV, FPR, and brake booster all routed from the vacuum distribution block mounted on the left side of the Holley high ram. I am happy with how it turned out.

Now to start focusing on accessories…

Thanks,
Brian

Made a homemade pressure bleeder for brakes, it worked great at getting all the air out. Doesn’t have to be pretty to work.

Brake pedal is firm and no leaks whatsoever. I am happy considering it’s all new line.

Also got the clutch bled out. All in all a productive day.

Milestone reached!

First start today. No leaks, and appears that all the wiring mods were OK. ECU is happy. Now to finish up the accessories and start tuning. Then the hard job of getting everything cleaned up and pretty.

Short Video of Idle

Thanks,
Brian

There is nothing more nerve wracking than that first start up.
Congrats - your attention to detail is the key.

WOW! Daaannnggg man, that's very awesome to say the least!! She's come a long way from where she was months back! And as hesster said, that first startup and idle after ALL that you did, is kinda nerve wracking, but it looks like your attention to detail got it done smoothly. Very impressed!!

Appreciate it guys! I'm super excited with how well start up went. I was expecting a wire or 2 to be wrong and to chase my tail for a few days being that I rewired the fuse box and ECU completely.

It started right up and idled without issue. 65 psi of oil pressure on start up and everything seemed to be reading properly.

Didn't run it long as it still doesn't have accessories or coolant yet.

For the tune, it's still stock with just the injectors scaled, no adjustments for displacement or larger throttle body yet because I forgot as I was too excited to turn the key.

Thank you sir, means a lot coming from you and your talents. Attention to detail is for sure the key to success!

And, I keep a punch list on a spreadsheet to know what I need to do, need to fabricate, and or need to buy. That list is shrinking by the day.
