Having problems finding us, Costco or just think you might get lost in general, send me a PM and I will send you my cell.

Silver Ice Man and I are also planning to post a schedule, so that if we get seperated we can meet up a certain points. We will also have a sheet for you when you get there with our cell numbers, stopping points and stuff like that.

We should be able to get the post on around 9:00pm tonight.

Hopefully this will help everyone in the process and make this the best ever.

It looks like the weather is going to be great.

OK guys just finishing up the last minute details, for the cruise, but while I am thinking of it, A heads up there is a TOLL BOOTH as you enter the Banff national park on HWY 11 just before the Sask crossing. I am not sure if it is open yet but would be a good idea to have a little cash to be safe.
Also on the 2 way radio question if you have access to a GWRS handheld 2 way we will be running on main channel 2 sub channel 1.
This is what they sorta look like

Mine are a little older but will do the same job.
Looking forward to seeing everyone

Front page of the hand out

June 12 Camaro 5 Sask Xing cruise Trip plan:
All attending the cruise on the 12th, we will be meeting at the Costco in the Gasoline Alley at Red Deer Alberta.

How do you get to the Costco:
For the Edmonton group, head south past Red Deer, after passing the 19th Street over pass stay in the right lane you will pass a “Turple Bros” Honda dealer, right behind Turple Bros is the Costco. For the Calgary group as you are approaching Red Deer heading north, turn off at the 1st over pass into Gasoline alley. At the top of the overpass turn left (west) go to the next set of lights then turn Right (north) follow the service road past all the gas stations, and restaurants. Turn left at the stop sign, then immediately turn right and you should be able to see the Costco from there.
The pack will be leaving the parking area from Costco at 11:00am sharp. Regroup points will be at:
1 - Just past the 1st set of traffic lights at HWY junction 20 and 11, into a road side turn out. We will repack up here to roll through the main street of Sylvan Lake together IF TIME PERMITS.
2 – At the junction of HWY 11A & 11
3 – At the BP’s in Rocky Mountain House (BP’s is located right off the highway on the left (west side) DEPART TIME OF 1:30, if you choose to dine elsewhere it is no problem. we will be heading out at 1:30
4 – At Abraham lake on the south side of the highway, (great spot for a photo opp)
5 – at the Sask xing for the final group stop.

From the Sask Xing Edmonton group could mostly be heading north towards Jasper, and the Calgary group could mostly heading south towards Banff.

ANYTIME you see a photo opportunity that you want to stop off and get a few shots on your own; by all means, this is a cruise for everyone, and not everyone will see things the same.

There will be hand outs at the Costco with approximate KMS to each turn, destination, or regroup point.

Thanx to everyone that has helped make this cruise one of the best turn outs that Alberta will ever see. I am sure that many heads will be turning as we roll by in a 5th Gen convoy.

My Name is John (68 RS) my cell is (will be on the handout)
I am the main organizer of the cruise

My Name is Craig (Silver Ice Man) my cell is (will be on the hand out)
I am the co-organizer of the cruise.

Please call us in the event you are falling behind, make a wrong turn, or have mechanical issues.
See you all on the road, drive safe, and the cops could be heavy on the highway this weekend so let’s not give them any reasons to ruin our day.

If I missed anything please let me know, the KM points will be on the back of the hand out when you get to the Costco.

The toll boths were open during daytime hours last week as I went to Prince George and back home on wednesday. Fee was $9 to use the Icefields parkway.

Hey Calgary crew, we will have to go by the Costco turn if we want to spray the bugs off. From what I can see:
Continue on #2 to 50th Ave. exit
Turn right on 19th St.
Turn right on 49 Ave.
continue down road to South Side Car Wash.
Can anyone confirm this. I don't know Red Deer that well, but this sounds pretty easy.

I'm not going to a car wash to de-bug.
Just heading to a gas station at gas alley,
squegee, and Quick Detailer, pretty all over again!

Yes sir, if you are going to the car wash, stay in the right lane you will see where HWY 2 turns off the the west, just stay straight into the bottom end of Red Deer, turn right on 19th, then another right on 49 and the car wash is on your right hand side.

Weather still looking goooooooooood for the run

Ya when we go to see the inlaws in PG we usually go thru at night and the tolls are closed lol. again just a reminder that there is construction at the 93#1 overpass and between LakeLouise and Banff. all pavement just might be delays
