I also think this is a major hub for new cars, if its in Elizabeth as I have been told, a lot of cars come in there by ship and rail so I can see it being chaotic. I tried to put it out of my mind, but its starting drive me nuts...
When it says available to ship from rail yard. it is sitting in the lot.
Can't do anything about it... I tried..
I know how you feel - mine was in the yard for 10 days. I've seen others get out in 2. I'm hoping for 2!!

Lowered, Really?

I feel like I'm driving from a hole in the road... But I've been driving a truck or SUV for the last 15 years.

Congrats! They are really fun to drive.

I've got a VIN and everything and still can't get any info from camarotracking.com. Not sure why.

Once the car is off the train, there is little to no way to track it. At that point you need to have your dealer call the Dealer Business support desk and ask them to get things moving.

Just wanted to give an update. I got a "change in status" notification from camarotracking.com a few minutes ago, said it was in transit from the plant and gave instructions on how to get the info from the railroad. I did that, and it was dropped off at the depot yesterday afternoon - and the train depot is not 20 miles from the dealer.

I can't imagine it would take very long to get it picked up and delivered such a short distance. At least, that's what I'm hoping.

My car was on a CSX rail car. If CSX says your rail car is empty (or at customer).. That means your car is off the rails and in a parking lot.

From parking lot at the railyard to the dealer can take 2-10 days. Mine being of the 10 day variety. Hopefully yours will move faster!

I hope so too! Hell, they could drive it to the dealership in less than 30 minutes! CSX did say it was off the car as of yesterday afternoon (gave the specific time and date).

Mine was pretty close too.. I think it is the luck of the draw on when you find a truck. Supposedly the customer sold cars have priority - but I did not see that myself. Good Luck!
