well im glad to see returns john kerry style flip flopping is now noticed by a few others.
before, I used Mt to show how American cars outperform german cars, to which he said you cant go off what the magazines say. But if you were at a party more people would like the german car so therefore germans make the best cars....shortly after he used MT to show the GT2 beating the GTR in a figure 8 time... ![]() This was because I said if germans make the best cars, why are there so many american and other cars ahead of them on their own nurburgring times?....(ie: where he said "well if you go by those laps then it would seem the gtr is better than the gt2) and i said prove me wrong.... Now i see him using both MT and Nurburgring lap times to prove his point? Does this mean my sources are finally credible? I guess that means Germans dont make the best cars in the world!![]() Just FYI since I noticed his whoel speech on how the zr1 means you pay 100k a second to go faster than a GTR, well thats fine. Because with his precious GT2 porsche, you in fact pay $39,183 a second, but the catch is its 3 seconds SLOWER! Thats right, you pay about 117k to go 2.99 seconds slower than the gtr! ![]() God i feel bad for the rest of the world trying to keep up with these end all german cars! Im pretty sure for the near 40k difference between the camaro and m3, the 25k dif between the cts-v and the m5, and the 117k dif between the gtr and gt2, you might be able to add all of the luxuries, suspension tweaks, and amenities to your liking that match the germans offering.

So now you guys are in here bickering about lap times around tracks none of you will ever see or drive. wow holy lolololololol. Serious who the hell cares what a car can do around a certain course when no one buying these cars are ever going to take these cars to any of said courses.
You guys are funny as hell, as far as lap times representing which car is better, get over it. It means nothing in the real world only paper stats. I sure did buy any of my cars based off some damn lap times. And here I thought we were all adults not 15-18 years bragging about whos dad car is better.

He Guys,
I do have a 2SS, M3 (08) and a Carrera S. The SS will eat the M3 with accelaration, on thetrack not but drag strip oh yeahhhhhhhh. The porsche will eat both of them. So if somebody says different, just try it and you will see who is right |

I guess if any of us ever post in a thread as a direct response to someone then we dont have to defend or be accountable for what we say? well here you go, My last post was a direct response to your post directly responding to Dragoneye.

Please give it up. There was a 2004 CTS-V, if you don't know something then at least google it first before you claim it is the truth. LMAO @ thinking they came out in 2008. 2004 http://www.edmunds.com/cadillac/ctsv/2004/review.html 2005 http://www.edmunds.com/cadillac/ctsv/2005/index.html I think you see where this is going |

But, only if we can open a new topic in which we can legitimately compare the two cars.

Kotton, I would leave Porsche out of it. Unlike Ferrari/GTR who seem only concerned with track times, Porsche is about enjoyment.
Yes they are great performance cars, but they are built to be enjoyed... perfect handling, outstanding balance... If you're a good driver there are few cars that are as enjoyable to drive. So the GT2 might very well be slower than the ZR1 (BTW the top of the line Porsche currently on sale is the GT3 RS) but that is irrelevant to anyone who buys one. Now again, I didn't read through that whole mess just picked up that the GT2 had been dragged into it. If cc is attempting to say all Porsche's are faster around a track... that's a whole different argument. And it would be false. |

Was this you?
http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2684546 the reason I ask is because you both seem to be on the same intelligence level. Also, sorry to break it to you, but your car has no balls.

I think it was you that decided it was ok to talk about other cars... such as randomly bringing up the M5.
GM offered a car for the same price as the M3, and out did BMW. The reason they haven't beat BMW at their own game before is because they never really offered a car at the price range to compete. |
