Is it worth showing a stock 5th gen to the Camaro Fest? From the photos, I'm guessing not. But I've never attended one of these.

Feeling better today, only to be working some OT tonight. Another co-worker on my team quit, so I most likely will be inheriting yet another person's portfolio in part, or in full. Can't keep up with what I have, but somehow, I will find a way.

Rick, Glad you're feeling better.

If you're able to go to the fest, within what is a reasonable distance to you, mods or not, GO! It'd be a great opportunity to be a part of all that energy and passion.

I'm hard pressed to justify all the time, fuel, food and lodging expense (not to mention 3K miles on Sally) just to get somewhere that I would not otherwise travel to (for that kind of investment, it is going to be a place of MY choosing, like Grand Cayman, Hawaii, Jamaica, Mon).

So, until the C5 kahunas select a fest location that works for me (), I make my own plans.

Absolutely Yes It is worth showing with any Camaro for the Fest. They have classes in both drag racing & Autocross for purely stock V8's & purely stock V6's. It would be ever so much more fun if more folks with stock Camaros would show up and let their babys stretch their legs. Take the tour through the vendor tents & you may well not leave with a stock Camaro. Then there is meeting the Chevy/Camaro executives, the moderators & your Camaro5 comrads, the parking lot parties...................It is a blast.

Glad you are feeling better but sorry for the extra work. I finally finished mine but now it is past my bedtime. Sweet dreams crew.

Good morning. Time to get up & at 'em. I'm facing a tough commute. There is flooding & power outages in Nashville this morning from heavy rains/storms overnight & rain continues. I better get myself together & try to leave a little early. HAGD all.

Nashville area floods were shown on the national news. Be safe Jan.

I'll think about making the trip to Texas for Camaro Fest. Got a long time to think about it.

Weekend is almost here gang. One more day to endure.

I finally got started posting up some of my pics & will post more tomorrow & videos too. Here is the link: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6876592&posted=1#post6876592

Tomorrow I have to work out ot the "mock" office set up to be similar to the plan for the office space they are planning for our new building. I sooooooooooooooo dread it. The folks planning it have not a single clue about what we do on a daily basis & I am not sure I will survive the move to the new building. I absolutely refuse to try to do my already very stressful job with my hands tied behind my back. This is NOT how I wanted to spend my day tomorrow.

I saw some of the flooding but I did not have any problems with my commute. It is still raining off & on & rain is in the forcast everyday for the next 8 days. I have NEVER seen a summer like this one in Tennessee. I have to keep reminding myself that it is really August.

I'd better get some sleep now. Sweet dreams all.
