Tomorrow my wife and I are going golfing with some friends of hers at work. I want to take the Camaro but I don't know if I can fit the clubs in with the top down. Diane don't tell me Georgia is in the 60's now I will be there in a week and I need some sunny warm weather for my vacation. Maybe I will just bring some nice NY weather with me. Have a good weekend all.

I think it will be warming back up for a bit, no fears. I'm headed to Alaska end of this week to see my son and family.

Finally got insurance checks and got my new computer. Setting it up was a bit of a hassle, the help desk guy from my ISP was an IDIOT. Sometimes I hate technology...
Finally have new doors for the house on order, that was a royal pain in the ass too. You would think that a door that is required by building code for the county wouldn't have to be special ordered. A friend is installing them for me on Friday, I will finally get a good night's rest knowing I can lock my doors!! (I have been setting my alarm, and another friend left her .380 in my nightstand drawer for me, so I am fine, not to worry...)
Went to the Seahawks game last night with one of my local Camaro sistas, what a great game - scores by offense, defense, and special teams!! YAY!!! While it was a great time, I had a weird experience... When the hawk flew out of the tunnel, and the music was playing, and the team started to take the field, I cried.... It hit me that going to football games was the one thing in my marriage that was consistently good... I think those were the first tears I had shed during this whole mess. I have been so relieved by getting rid of all the bad, that I hadn't stopped to think of any of the good things I was losing as well... That wave of emotion really caught me off guard.

I'm going to try to go back and get caught up on all of the happenings, see how all of you have been doing, etc...
So glad to be back in touch, I've missed all of my Ol' farts!!!

Decided to try and take the Camaro when we went golfing today. You cannot fit 2 golf bags in the trunk at all. One fit when I took out the drivers I put them and the other bag in the back seat. The golf was fun and I started out bad but got better as the round went on. I even had a birdie putt that I missed but still got par on the hole.

I also did something stupid when I parked at the course I caught a parking barrier and destroyed the show and go license plate holder I had. I usually park a foot away from those things but was obvoiusly not paying attention today. I just ordered a new one now on Amazon so it will be fixed soon and it looks like I only got the plate holder so I got lucky there was no other damage. We also ordered some new plates today something we have been thinking about but we could not come up with something we liked that was still available. Today I came up with SEEKNSUN and my wife liked it so we placed the order.

Back to work tomorrow but then I am on vacation after that till the Wed after Labor Day. I am looking forward to the time off.

I had a nice day at my mother-in-laws house. Ate some great, huge steaks & all the fixins'. And desserts too! Floated around in the pool a while too. Then visited with my dad. He was scattered today but nothing unusual. It is so odd how some days he seems pretty together & other days more confused. My younger sister took her youngest child to UT Knoxville today. No more children in our family. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday evening crew.

It was Family Road Trip Sunday! Started out in Peoria to Fountain Hills, Payson, Heber - Overgaard, Show Low, Globe, Miami, Superior, Gold Canyon, and back to Peoria. Temps varied by as much as 20* depending on the elevation. Some spectacular scenery in Eastern AZ. The trip was easily 350 miles.

It's actually RAINING here now.

Good morning crew! Another day of partly cloudy with scattered storms here today but a little warmer; up to 85. As our weather guy says "air you can wear". Looking forward to exercise class today. Our instructor was out last week & it was not as intense. I'm sure she will push us extra hard this week. Dang, I miss the SPEED channel. Have a good Monday everyone.

Good evening crew. Not a bad Monday. I managed to stay caught up on my doccumentation so no work at home tonight. Exercize class was tough so I'm tired & have a bit of a headache. But all else is okay. Just a little TV & surfing of C5 & off to bed.

Good evening gang! It rained hard here again today but at least I did not have to drive in the rain. When I came outside after the rain to drive home however it was literally like walking out of a refrigerator & into a steam bath. YUCK! The totally weird summer continues.
