It was too dang hot to be drag racing today! I tried to post a pic from there today but I guess it did not post. I have started a thread for pics & videos from the fest here:

Yeah, I figured it out too. I thought I was having hallucinations because I could have sworn I posted a pic from the Fest on this thread today & that I saw someone responded to it. Then when I got home it was gone. Glad to know I'm okay. (well at least in terms of this particular instance anyway, LOL)

There was some issue and they had to restore the site to yesterday morning I think so a bunch of posts were lost.

Hi gang!
Some friends and I drove over to Desert Valley Auto Parts this morning to browse. Not much to get excited about today, but it's neat looking at almost rust free cars that would have rusted away if on the east coast. Changed the oil in my Camaro today, first time I did it. The dealership performed the first one. Found the filter and o-ring on Rock Auto. Have a great day.

That's probably why the oil change is so expensive at the dealership... the equipment required to flip the car upside-down must be outrageous!

It was another very hot, humid & miserable day today, but a miserably hot day amoung awesome cars & doing some drag racing is stil a great day. I only got to make 2 runs today one at around 10:15 this morning & another around 3:30 this afternoon. My first one was not great; about like yesterday's runs. The second one just a little better - better reaction time, a little better 1/4 mi time AND I beat another SS, the only other girl who was racing that & saw. Of course, that one Mike did not video :( And it was just a qualifying run so not officially a race, but to me it was a win & it made me feel better about the event so far. I'll post a couple of pics here & more int he LS Fest thread in the pictures & video section.

I'm up early to go for another day of LS Fest. Today is elimination rounds. I would like to make it through at least one round but I know the odds of that are slim. Win or lose it is a blast. I want to hitch a ride with someone in autocross today too. Then I'll spend the rest of my day taking pics of all the events. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
