Is Chevy or Camaro Division doing tents or anything for the Dream Cruise this year?

I would only pray for a miracle to have my 2012 LLT/Rs before then, but will probably have to wait till next years show

First of all Chevy is the major sponsor for the Dream Cruise and it's 100 years, so bet on a BIG display!!

Your order is 1100 status. That means the order is still held by the dealer and will not be picked up by GM until the dealer has allocation to place the order. Every month dealer has allocation for vehicles given to them by Chevrolet. In the case of Camaro, the dealer is given a # of vehicles to place for the month. It could be they have 1 or 2 or none or 20. I just depends of the size of the dealer and the sales rate they have for Camaro. The coupes are separate from the convertibles, so if you have a coupe on order, the dealer need to have coupe allocation to "place" it. Once it's placed against that allocation, the order is then moved into GM's system and it follows the process to order the parts, schedule it and so on. At this point it appears the dealer either has no allocation or there are sold orders ahead of yours. Either way, you may want to have a chat with them so you understand what timeframe you are looking at.

I honestly absolutely cant wait...ive never driven the v8..i went to the carlisle show in 09 before they were widely available, and due to some kids being roudy the year before with the maro's, i never got the chance to drive it becase i was a few months short of being 21- my uncle got to drive the v8 and i had to sit in the back seat. I did have the privelage of owning a v6 camaro for almost 2 years though...but i have no idea how the v8 compares to the v6 in terms of performance..im sure it will be worlds apart though.

I did the same thing! I ordered my '02 SS after renting a V6 convertible for a week. By the time I ordered, it was March in Colorado and the closest I could get was to test drive a Z28 through the snow! My SS was the first one I had driven and I could not believe how much I loved that car!

You will be blown away, trust me
