Does anybody know what the 9th digit of the VIN is?

Just curious because looking at the tracked numbers, this one varies between numbers and letters.

What does it mean when I see my VIN but when I open it up to look at the window sticker there is nothing inside? My VIN showed up for the first time today on here.

It's been posted here before. Look back at "vin decoding". The 9th digit is a 'check digit'

Window stockers show up about a week after your VIN is produced.
