Finally pulled the trigger and ordered a Camaro. Was wondering if you could check PTNFQJ for me if you get a moment? (Probably still at the starting process, but I'm overly anxious!)

This morning via GMConnects, my status was at 2500. I just checked it now, and its showing 2030 order edited or modified.

Is there an explanation for this?

There has been some back and forth questioning with the 45th and RS package pricing stuff with my salesman and my order and he has told me if something comes up that I dont like, I have the option to back out...BUT the dealer will still continue with the order for themselves to sell the car on the lot...but will make some changes (dump the sunroof and change it to an A6) to make it an easier sale for them.

I have not told him to cancel or change anything. I really hope this status doesnt mean he decided to change my order without notifying me...cause I am going to be seriously pissed off after putting a hefty down payment and possibly having to start from scratch again to order.

I really hope that there was a blip and something was overlooked and the order just had to get bumped to make sure it was correct.

Becky, any chance you could shed some light for me?

No need to check for me Becky, just got off the phone with my sales guy and he said the sales manager decided to take charge and changed the order on me. In short, my order is no longer my order and Im being refunded my downpayment.

Yeah, I am NOT happy right now.

Becky... if you dont mind, I would like to call you tomorrow and talk....

Mine did the same thing!! WTH??!! I'm thinking GM is just jacking with their website and it's wonky right now. [at least I hope that's the case].

I knew something was up the moment I see an email at 10:30pm from my salesman with his cell and saying to call him. He isnt to blame, and basically was told to stand aside from his manager. He knew I was pretty pissed off by the tone of my voice.

Whole issue is boiling down to GM havent not officially given the 2012 prices to the dealers yet and me wanting to know if I have to pay an extra $1210 (dealer invoice) to include the RS package in order to get the 45th. Production started on the 18th, orders are being made, and here it is the 27th yet dealers are still in the dark on most everything. Im beyond frustrated and so far, not been the experience I wanted.

I dont have the luxury budget or deep pockets to blindly just blow another $1210 (IF that is the case in this situation) and raise my monthly payments even higher.

Ive called Becky twice now for help and I like everyone else, cant say enough good things about her. Hopefully she can help me more tomorrow.
