We won't be there. I'm sick and the car needs washed due to driving it in the rain this week. :(

For those of you with the books, is it possible to remove the rear lower valance without taking the back bumper off? I'd like to pant it IBM.

See if the pics below help. If I understand the piece you are talking about, it looks like you don't need to remove the rear fascia but may need to remove the fascia energy absorber before removing the rear fascia molding.

I tried removing mine to work on my exhaust... it seemed like a pain in the butt... I gave up.

There isn't much room under there. I can barely get to the clips for the molding piece. I'd have to take the bumper off to get the clips on the energy absorber.

Check out this thread about RJT door panels. This is what I think you should do minus the flames.
I like them as you said, minus the flames.

Hey checkout my post on AAC for the markers I don't even have yet. people are finally starting to speak out. I would rather have them plain jane and then have someone do them for me. I am so fed up with AAC. I WANT A REFUND! OK, I just want my markers.

I brought the paint issue to Justin's attention after the final checkout became available. The original paint option was to cost $100. The final paint option actually came to $140 unless you choose black. I asked for and received a refund.

This is what Justin told me when I asked about the paint option:

"I am sorry you feel that way but with paint and body you get what you pay for an we decided to use a quality service rather than some "backyard" painter."

I guess the "price" was for a "quality service" but the results are turning out be like a "backyard" painter.

Mike

well, took a half day from work yesterday & put my hood & trunk stripes on. There was an issue with the side stripes. The guy making them had a cutting "error", so these will be delayed. Everything went on pretty easy & they look great. No air bubbles, altough I had a small piece of grit under the rear stripe. Here are the pics.

Going to wash & wax it Sunday, then I'll take some good pics with the digital camera instead of the iPhone.
