Might hafta have you check your yard Jan, I lost a couple pieces of trim and possibly some shingles so far.

I went to check to see if we were having rotation or straight line winds during a lull and found a section of the cladding on one end of the house hanging. And a gust hit as the next wave came along as I was checking it and the cladding came down as I was watching it.

I grabbed the cladding and pulled it into the house as the third wave hit. I had planned to drive to Virginia around 5 AM for the holiday ... but now my travel plans are scrapped as I will have to see what damage is done and then try to either repair it myself or get someone to do it. Bleah!

Thunderstorm is still lingering, but the worst is looking to be past us here now.

We'll hafta see how bad it is in the morning ... so far doesn't look horrible, but roof damage can be hidden too.

Good morning. I'm up with the sun & a nice sunrise it was. Lots to do today. Some pics to take, a little grocery & stocking stufer shopping, I need a haircut & then wrapping of presents. Depending on timing, maybe a bit of cooking too.

Wondering how motivated I will be at work this week. Gotta cover for someone on my team who is on vacation.

Had to "modify" my new Chevelle clock. Couldn't see the hands from a distance, so I painted them. I'll post a photo when I put it back together.

Good Monday morning crew. Happy Anniversary to me! It will be like a ghost town at work today. I hope a few clients show up or or will be a loooooooooong day. My computer was running really slowly last night so I did not make it back here to post pisc so here are a couple & a link to the rest.

Woke up sick this morning. My lungs feel like the are on fire and I feel achy. Pills will be my friend today.

Don't know why but I picked up some germs someplace....cough, runny nose, head like a brick. Pounding some Mucinex and Ibuprofens and Vitamin C drops. Gotta drive up to my son's for Christmas dinner. And I am off until next year.

Nice music selections. I'm too tired to look any up. I cooked from hte time I got home until now. Made one batch of fudge, cheese logs & Hershey's Kisses pie. In the morning & will make the congealed salad, rice crispies treats (frosted & decorated - my son's favorite thing), Deviled eggs, a veggie tray, shrimp cocktails, & another batch of fudge. Mike will pick up the turkey & cheese tray from Kroger & we can will be done. I have to have things that can be served whenever. My kids are totaly unpredictable. Jina will arrive whenever she gets good & ready & Ryan may not.........well actually, almost certainly will not come at all but just in case.........If not I will bring him his Rice Crispies treats to my in-laws house Christmas day.
