I will post pictures soon, but thought I'd write a quick note on the experience yesterday of picking up my IMB RS Camaro. Everything was pretty typical until the financing stuff started and there was an extra $395 "protection package" tacked on. I refused to pay for it as my final order sheet and purchase price quote had all the taxes & fees and never mentioned the protection package addition. After about 20 minutes of the usual sales crap - "We add it to every car and it is not negotiable..." - the salesman said he was out of allocations and there were people willing to buy my car for $4000 over what I was paying. So, if I didn't want the car anymore he would sell it to someone on the waiting list and give me $2000 of the $4000; but, the $1500 down payment was not refundable! Bascially, he was going to give me $500 to walk away from the deal since I didn't want to pay for the crappy protection package. I actually thought long & hard about just walking away and just getting a Genesis coupe or 370Z, but I negotiated for some all-weather floor mats and trunk liner when they come in along with a couple of free oil changes and figured those would be close enough to the $395 profit package they were hawking. Other than that hassle everything went smooth & I'm finally driving my Camaro.

Sorry guys and girls, I've been out driving and enjoying the car. I got the car on Friday June 26th and I'm just posting pics and a video of my tint shop from Mike's Tint Shop. I am extremely happy with the car.

My baby is home and I'm loving it. It's well worth the wait. It feels much like the '69 I sold a few years back, but with a wonderful transformation! The wife loves it too and that's an added plus.

i got #4583 an iom ss1 on monday 6/22/09 at 600pm. it had 19 miles on it when i got it and i've driven a 105 miles this week. all i have to say is that i waited 9 months for it and it was worth it. now if it would stop raining i could actually take it out from the garage and use it a little.

I picked up mine on 6/27. I will add picks to this post tomarrow when I can get the picks off the camera. I will have stripes painted on next week. Will post picks when completed.

Finally got my car. A few days late with posting pictures, but here they are. The car is amazing and yes, it was well worth the wait. CGM rally stripes and GFX to come. Still waiting for them to come in.

I finally got my 2010 2SS RJT home from John L Sullivan Chevrolet of Roseville, CA. I pre-ordered and have waited patiently since October 29th, 2008. I drove it home this afternoon, Monday, June 29th, 2009. Boy this one has a lot more "bells and whistles" than the 1967 RS that I still drive. Now the two of them are together in the same Garage, side by side. It drove great on the ride back home this afternoon, but I do have one problem that I hope to get resolved tomorrow. And that is that I can turn the key and start the engine and turn it off; I just cant remove the key from the ignition.??

Well...looks like I can finally add my name to this list. I've been waiting 3 years for this...and here it is. Took delivery on June 25th...a Thursday morning. No problems at all....super easy and super smooth. Already knew what to expect. Man....what a great feeling!!!

I drove home after signing all the paperwork and paying cash Then I was able to take thsse photos which I now found a way to download. The Two Camaros, First and Fifth and now togeter. My grand daughter came up with a name for my new one, "Ruby"
