Whether or not Camero is a member of the Camaro team (forgive me, Camero) doesn't matter. Take what he says with salt, or as scripture -- it doesn't matter. Just ease off the 'calling him out' stuff for now.

And Camero; come on, man - don't take it personally...I mean, you can hardly blame them/us, right?

Now, as for the gas cap - there are two potential senarios.
1: The Gas cap is on the passenger side on the side of the fender....And Scott is being cruel and sadistic by telling us that's where it will stay when it's just going right back up top.

-OR-

2: The gas cap is on the side. Sorry. Get over it and take in the rest of the cars beauty.!

I'm goin' for two. Cause the little time I've 'known' Scott ( Never actually met him)I've come to the conclusion that he's not cruel and sadistic.

Oh, and for your displeasure (sorry about this); Look real close at the Camo-pattern on the cars. They all have the same one, and judging which triangle the gas cap is behind in the exposed picture, you can gauge where it is on all the others: Under the bra.

AHA!! I FOUND PROOF! This is an older image shown on Leftlanenews.com:
http://www.leftlanenews.com/wp-conte...64&idg=3&idi=6

if you look very carefully you can see that one car has a horizontal stripe similar to the picture SHOWING the fuel door - the other one DOES NOT!! AHA!! see?? you cant base your beliefs on what you see all the time...especially pre-production

hope this helps get peoples hopes up that the gas filler door wont be located on the passenger side fender...lol

See it?? i did

Hey all! Long Time Reader here, I finally decided to join!

In response to the above poster, I just wanted to point out this picture:

"contains less than 10 liters of fuel"

maybe the camaro on the right, without the horizontal stripe is the same one that had less then 10 liters of fuel, and they didnt put a fuel door on it at all yet. Or it might just have had it on the driver's side. Idk, just thought i should point it out..

Id like to have the gas cap on top, but I think its been said that it wont be there..I see why they changed it, and Im fine with it.

Just my $.02

Does anyone know if the mules get altered or GM just pumps out the latest mule that shows the updates of everything? To me it would seem the cars that have camo are not as good of indicators as the cars that don't have camo because the w/o camo would be the later installments of the mules (weren't there suppose to be mules with no camo out?). But I may be wrong and all the mules get updated equally as time progresses.

My point being, all the latest pictures we have been critiquing are of OLD mules (possibly?) that were of the early preproduction. If that is true, we should hold out for the next step of the evolution of the camaro mule eh? If the mules get worked on and added to and such, then you can critique the camo'ed mules. I just want to know which is which.

[QUOTE=TAG UR IT;43598]wow...closed "air" vents....super, duper cool. I don't know about ya'll, but I can't see how closed air vents will keep you "safer" in an accident. I'm not engineer, but that doesn't make sense to me. If someone hits you in front of the rear wheel, it's going to CRUMPLE no matter what.

I don't get it either!

Welcome. Well, I think you're probably right. That makes a ton of sense. I don't see them changing the gas cap location between V6 and V8 models, so one of those was probably made without a proper fuel door. I've come to accept the new location, but I'm still hoping we get at least a cool looking cap or door like the Challenger. I think that is a fair compromise yes?

thanks! yeah I agree! we at least gotta get something nice to make up for the loss to compete with the challenger. If GM doesnt offer a nice looking gas cap, Im sure they'll have plenty of aftermarket ones.

Hey guy's for what it's worth, I just got an update from Dodge on the Challenger(If I can figure out how to post it I will) now according to them the Challengers coming with a 13 speaker kicker system, so I suppose a center speaker could come into play here. If I can't get it u . . . errrr, post it, check out dodge.com, you can even build it.
