Yep....I remember this coming up earlier in the thread and I commented on it. Would like to see the proof of this.

I really feel like you are trying to be genuine, but things just don't add up. Being a mustang owner, I just really doubt that 2010 3V GT is running 12's on that "2000+ DA slick-as-snot" track.... Lets say for example, the slip above is correct and that is "your friends" GT on the right... what kind of car is that on the left side? It has the same 60' time and trap speed as your G35 but is again a solid half second slower. That is an ETERNITY on the drag strip.
Sorry would like to clear a few things up. That run was when it was 500 DA out. My "friend's v6 mustang" has every single bolt on known to man(tune, gears, this ghost cam, headers, this new intake manifold, tb, etc), he doesn't care too much for forums either. He is going to the track again soon with dr's and I'll let you know the times and post up his slips possibly.

No the left side is an auto Camaro ss, it was his first run of the night. The 3v Mustang GT ran 12.9 with 4.56 gears(which he later regretted for being too steep), aggressive 93 octane tune, LCA's, muffler/cat delete and Nitto 555r's. He made his 3v a 12 second car for less then $1200.

Fast forward to 2:30. This is the race that's on that timeslip

Note the 10.81 1000 foot time that's shown on the board right before he passes the 1/4 mile marker.

Yes he is going to the track tonight, but he has big plans(cam, full bolt ons, eventually a procharger) because he realized the LSx is a much more reliable platform to start then the modular 4.6 for power.

Unfortunately I can't come tonight, I have work.

Tonight was great night, DA less then 500.

With a hypertech handheld tuner, that fuse mod that you guys mentioned, and stuff. He ran 13.4 @ 107 mph; most of his runs were 13.5, 13.6, 13.8, 14.2. The other stock Camaro ss I raced was there again doing 13.5-13.8 @ 103-104 mph tonight too.

My friend's 370 whp Charger SRT8(cai, muffler/cat delete, diablo tune) ran a Camaro ZL1 at the track too.

I should make a meme "know what a ZL1, G35, SRT8 Charger, and Camaro SS have in common? They all run 13's".

I kid I kid, yes I can read (the 60 foot of the ZL1).

Your G35 is totally faster than a ZL1. I don't know why you even let him think he's faster than you.

Wow, now I dont feel so bad running low 12's at that track in 2500DA if that SRT8 and ZL1 only managed those kind of times in less than 500DA. After my rebuild I'm taking this car to Tulsa to see what it can really do.

Here's a Camry smoking a G35. I guess you can add Camry's to the 13 second car list too.

The DA was 1700 @ 7:15 p.m to 1200 @ 11 p.m. My wife gained almost 3 mph over her best trap speed but our 60' times were horrible.

That's a really low trap speed for the ZL1. Supposedly, trap speed will tell you a lot about your HP-to-weight ratio. It's supposed to be pretty independent of 60' times. This isn't the first time I've seen slow times and speeds posted by ZL1's. That car should be trapping in the 120+

Nice! I was just going by what I was told... Never looked up exact DA. She trapped like 102?

Yeah Tulsa's air is much better, I want to run up there when the DA gets down again in the fall.

My friends heads/cam full bolt on 440 whp 300C on slicks did 12.10 @ 112 mph, other friends bolt on LS1 did 12.16 @ 111 mph, 4th gen SS that is.

Looks like they should be in the mid/high 11x range, not 120s, on the fast list there are 2 right at 120.xx, but the rest fall in the mid/high 11x range, but yes, 112 appears to be way slow.
