anybody have a clue as to when the specifics(MPG, Price) are going to be out on this truck? I am trying to hold out on the decision, but I really really need a new DD and having a truck with decent MPG would allow me to get rid of my other truck too. Patiently waiting and would rather not have to buy a car instead but the wait is killing my wallet!!

Do they plan on adding a LTZ trim level eventually? ZR2 would be nice, but there are already rumors about that and I haven't heard anything else regarding a higher end trim level?

Of course hindsight is 20/20 and playing the wait game sucks, but I have a feeling that the 2nd or 3rd model year of these trucks might be when the "better stuff" comes in. By that, I'm talking about a 8+ speed transmission and maybe the new LGX V6 engine as well which could be a nice MPG improvement over the current LFX 6 speed combo.

But if you wait about 3 years after that you could probably get a next-next gen Colorado with even more improvements.

So you guys would prefer GM not make improvements and/or refresh their vehicles?

They put nav in the Camaro right after I bought mine and I was a little pissed but I understood. Everyone else in the competing segment had one.
