yeah - i guess that's same with me. worst timing ever. any other weekend this spring would've been fine. Guess Monday or Tuesday will be day of rejoicing. I know dealerships are closed sunday, I would think the trucks would at least run today and tomorrow.

I'm hoping for something similar to what Razor guessed.. I think the dual mode helps the flow a little, adding maybe 5-7HP + the 15 or so from the CAI Intake.. I'm guessing 395/386, but am really interested to see your numbers since it will be on the same setup I have initially.

Well, if you take the conventional wisdom of 15% parasitic losses for a manual trans, you get 362. Let's say it's 13% with electric steering and NPP, that's 370. Let's give 12 rwhp for the intake, that's 382. Let's say 5 for a ported TB, that's 387. And 20 for the headers, that's 407. And 15 for the tune, that's 422. So, if I get above that, I'll be happy. This will be on a Dynojet BTW.

Oh yea, I guess I might have been a little high on my estimate of loss.. I was just guessing around 370-375 stock, idk what it really was.. We can hope though, lol

The 1LE guys seem convinced that the best producing motors get reserved for them. Don't know if that's fact or fiction. Anyway, trying to keep my expectations conservative. So if I get over 420 real world HP, I will be very happy.

Okay, I officially have the best wife! So my wife new how bummed I was about not getting my car, and the run around I've been getting. So she calls the dealer today (without me knowing) and tells them they need to step up and do something to make me feel better. So she calls me today and tells me to go by the dealer because I forgot to sign a paper and ask for Phill. So I get there at 7pm not exactly in the best of spirit's, and ask for this Phill guy. He says thanks for stopping in, I'll have you out of here in one minute. He leads me down a hallway and through a door. In the room/ garage is 3 2014 ZL1's and a Red 2013 2ss SS. He apologized for the trouble with getting my car here and said my wife arranged free of charge for me to have a car to drive until mine gets here. So I'm temporarily driving the red 2013 SS.

Did I say my wife is awesome? She is!!

On top of that I have a cool story to tell about the 3 black ZL1's. They were three of four wthat were bought by the same person. Some guy sold his company and bought 1 for himself and the other three for his top guys in the company. They were awesome.

That is one great wife. It's just too bad these dealerships don't think about something like this on their own. Fortunately, you will soon have your own car and be free of them. I will look forward to your detailed A/B comparison of the 1LE suspension vs standard SS. I was investigating suspension mods before getting my car but I'm quite satisfied with the ride and handling of the vert so far. From the reviews I've read, the vert is supposedly set up the same as the coupe as far as spring and shock rates.

My car has been at the distribution center since last wed :( How long does it take to get on a truck and travel 3 hours?? It's torture not knowing when it will get delivered. I just want to drive it before I make my first payment. ha

I know your pain!

mine took over thirty days just to get to Oregon, now it's been sitting 100 miles away for a couple days . It has a mandatory 3 day customs hold, and the arrival time is 11:45pm Tuesday ! That means I'm not gunna see my car for another week. Hopefully next Monday it will be waiting for me and the weather will be nice. It's supposed to rain late this week , so everything happens for a reason!
