na. to have the roof and the mirrors body color was an option. it says so in my camaro milestones magazine in the time line. i dont remember what it says exactly but i can check. it was an option like after 1994 or something. all of the camaros i see here are usually v6's that have the top black. you guys must be living in a different dimension. lol

this is what it says in page 90 "1994 z28 revised the exterior paint scheme, allowing the customer to choose either a black or body-colored top and mirrows."

I'm surprised you didn't see the car in person. My wife and I (West Coast F-Bodies) were asked by Scott Settlemire to wrangle up 17 Camaros through the years to showcase at the Orange County Auto Show. Being in Buena Park I would think it's like easy for you to pop over...oh well. Check the link for pics like I said.



Awesometastic! I'll keep them in mind for when I actually get a design laid on my car. She's got a lot of work comin' her way that I've been sitting on - waiting for the right time to do it all (needed a garage first lol).

Actually, I'm not in Buena Park. Close though- I live in Whittier. My dad works in Buena Park though (Fleet Director for Ken Grody Ford), and German's been his place of choice for body work.

I would think so! I know the black roof (my fav look) is the standard for Z28, and occasionally came on the SS (mine is such: true SS, black roof) but this has got to be rare! Very cool, looks great!
