I had to pull mine out pretty hard for the first pull and sliding felt restricted like with too much grease. After several slides it loosened up. Sounds like a better one this time. Digital pinion angle tool is cheap on Amazon. Might be good piece of mind to make sure centerlines are parallel.

Here's one. Harbor Freight sells them too. I think I paid $39 there but had it that day I needed it.
Google magnetic angle finder and you should have options to your liking.

Here's another page...

I see it was balanced at 4500 rpm (min recommended) or 500 rpm more than the first shaft. Hopefully this will eliminate the vibration you had with the first one if it was due to imbalance.

Thanks guys I wanted to make sure I was looking at the correct tools, I'll probably order the Klein one. Supposedly they spoke to the Balance manufacturer about it so I am assuming the RPM is correct for our shafts.

They install and aluminum, they don't go over torque specs or anything bin the video, leave stuff out that a beginner may not know.

I was hoping that you had and that all was good as last year GulfCoast offered a Black Friday discount on all their shafts and I wanted to take advantage of it if they offered it again the year, but with the jury still out on them I’m going to wait to see how you make out. Good luck and let’s hope for an early spring.

Joe G, which driveshaft loop did you use. I’m getting ready to install a DSS aluminum drive, G force axels and Hendrix offset bushings and wanted to do the Loop while I had it all apart.
Thanks
