I feel like I moved back to Detroit with this weather.

Just an FYI, this weekend Miller Motorsports Park is having MPRA (Miller Park Race Association) races. That is the local road race series. In between the practice/qualifying/race sessions, there is Lap Battle on the schedule. It is a 'local' version of Redline Time Attack and is open to pure street cars and has a bunch of different classes. It is a great chance to bring out your Camaro and get to do some track driving. We did some testing last season during a Lap Battle with one of our Camaros.

There is also an Open Track day on Monday with a group call Lapping Days. I know they have some open spots and that group provides you with an instructor and will help you learn the techniques and skills of track driving. It is an eye opening experience and a great chance to get to know your Camaro. No special prep is needed for your car, it is brand new remember.

Here is a link to the Lap Battle details.

Here is a link to the MPRA Schedule.

Here is a link to the Lapping Days website with all of the info.

Pfadt will be out at the track on Friday - Monday most likely. We'll testing on Friday and Saturday morning with the Corvette and be racing the Corvette on Sunday. I'm planning on taking the silver Camaro out for some testing on Monday with Lapping Days. Hope to see a few of you out there.

I've licked my finger and stuck it out the window. If it dried quick, I knew I was going fast!!!

But nope. Nothing official. You?

So, opened my mailbox today, and there's an envelope from JD Power and Associates.

Inside was the new vehicle quality survey. Not sure if anyone else has gotten one, but it's a pretty cool little thing.

I'm happy to say I was able to skip EVERY question about problems with the vehicle as I've had 0 problems and 0 complaints.

I'll be mailing it back in today. (For those who haven't heard, the latest round of JD Power surveys is showing higher quality for American vehicles than non-American vehicles for the first time in years)

Seems not everyone gets them from what I've found online. If several of us got them that's pretty cool

I got one as well and filled it out pretty much the sameway. Just wondering did yours have a 1 dollar bill in it?
