lyndalu, let's hope your dealer is getting good info. There are times and
situations that what I see has not been updated. It just doesn't happen very often. If it has been shipped, they should be able to provide you with a railcar# to track it. Good luck, let us know what you find out.

Well it's not going on a rail..... just truck. With our 2010 it was just a truck so Im thinking this is the same.

My dealer called Chevy today and was told that the car is under quality control hold. I understand the need for quality control, but the car was built on July 19th - what the hell takes so long to check to see if there any problems? It was like the 153rd car built. They also would not give a release date or ETA, but claim it will be given priority status, whatever that means.

It's not out of the question that they are trucked to Michigan or New York. Doesn't really matter as long as they would get moving.

Agreed! The info that we get today is good and bad. These days we get info we never had before. Previously, we wouldn't have even known the car was built, let alone where it is in the shipping process. Maybe sometimes not knowing is better than knowing. Without any expectation, poof, your new car would show up at the dealership. So I guess what I'm trying to say, is hang in there, this is so worth the wait. These delays have happened before and they'll happen again. All we can do is make sure GM unerstands our frustration so they work to resolve the issues.

O.K., I've tried to not bother the Tracking Goddess, Becky, but I'm finally going to break down and do it. My dealer hasn't called me back with any update, so I assume they don't know anything. I've been stuck at (4B00) since August 1st.

Miss Becky, could you see if you can find out anything about order #PSHDG4

Miss Becky, I finally got my dealer to get me the order number on my very first brand new car ever, and a Camaro at that!! And I was wondering if it would not be too much trouble to you, if you could check on the status of it. The order number is PSVJZP. I checked it at chevyconnect.com and it says its at 3400 status. But I believe according to this thread that you have some magical powers and can tell more than what that site can show. Maybe you show a TPW....

Congrats on your new order!! Right now you
are 1100 status. What will happen is either
the dealer will place the order against their
allocation, and you'll go to 2000 status - or-
on Tues PM the order could cycle right into
GM's system and your order will be 2500 or 3000
on Wed next week. All of this assumes you get
past the Anniversary package constraint

There is only a limited # of Anniversary packages
for the week. Good luck and don't hesitate to
check back anytime!
