Especially the 1/8 mile. There's not much time to play catch up. So practice your launching skills.
A stock LS3 Camaro can run 8.2 or 9.2 in the 1/8 mile. It all depends on the driver.

Definatly a drivers race. Both cars should run low 13s to very high 12s.

Oh its an 1/8 mile. Well damn anything could happen. You have no time to make up any kind of mistake against even a 14 second car.

If you want to see which car is truly faster just go from a 40 roll and watch him fade. With those mods his car isnt going to gain 5-6 mph in trap speed. You will walk him from a roll.

I probably had 2 or 3 slower cars take me at stop lights when I had my 98 because of the simple fact that they had the slower car that was easier to launch. It was tricky launching 440rwhp on street tires on the street. So after every loss I got at the light I would ask them to take it to the highway and do a roll. After I pulled them by several car lengths I felt a lot better.

But that is dangerous and I dont recommend it on pubic roads.

If I actually cared about the numbers I would have a Z06 or ZR1 or CTS-V. I'm just amused that this site has more mustang owners on it than most dedicated mustang fan forums and they are so easily manipulated for my amusement.

Or maybe we're fans of all the pony cars, but we own Mustangs. There aren't really a lot of Mustang people on this site, it's just that the people who are post frequently.

I'm a vette fan, through and through, love my Camaro now. I would NOT want the Sting Ray in TF2 to go into production. I hope they don't use the split rear window on anything I've seen to date, although I'd love to have the current ZR1, lol!! Or Z06!

It's a shame that the special editions of the Vette are not easily distinguised from the base model. They don't really draw much attention.

People in dealerships are climbing over Z06's and Grand Sports to oogle V6 Camaros.

Should be a good race. no mistakes... 05-09's don't need much more than a CAI+Tune, x-pipe, some pullies and a decent driver to edge out the SS

btw ultra, there is no such thing as roll racing on the strip lol
