Fantastic! I think that's the fastest M6 time I've seen and the DA was still not very good. There will be even faster times in a few weeks, and no doubt you have a 12.1 12.0 in that car.

Man i'd love to get in some better air. My track (Norwalk, OH) closes down this month. Next Wednesday will be the last chance I get to run there until the spring and it doesn't look like the DA is going to be much better. I may take a trip up to Milan, MI later this month or early November and try and get a hero pass in there before I park it for the winter.

If you go back a couple pages in this thread there's some pretty good pointers on launching the M6's. Basically a slow release of the clutch with the launch control activated. It will hold your RPM's at about 4k and leave with out allowing the traction control to kick in. The launch RPM isn't adjustable as far as I'm aware. I haven't hooked up my HPtuners to the car yet but I have a good feeling it could be adjusted in the tune.

We are lucky in some ways down here in FL. Our DA is almost never lower than 200-400 in the Winter, but our tracks are open year round. This Summer has been terribly rainy, so we haven't done much racing. I'm on the West coast, so the hurricane isn't supposed to impact us much and we have a T&T tonight and FL2K this weekend. I don't expect good DA's, but it is good practice.

I've raced Milan in the past. Great track and great people. Had a 2004 GTO at the time and had a couple epic runs against a full bolt on Trailblazer SS.

This launch control "trick" seems to be the ticket with these cars...

Are you no lift shifting?

You definitely have a 12.1, maybe 12.0 in that car in better DA. You gotta try for a 12.1 before the end of yor season!

Unfortunately my car leaves for an umm....project.... next week or I would be out there trying to get in the low 12's with you GreaseMonkey!! We've had some nicer weather in the evenings lately. These cars LOVE the cool air.

Have you tried Quaker City? That's where I normally head to. You can get a ton of runs in per night. Last time I went I was able to lay down over 15 passes on an actually race night. You can hot lap like crazy (I was when I ran the 12.38).
