Is anyone else going to get their stripes painted from steve's body shop guy? Member mbauer14085RS/SS2010 got quoted 800 to 1000 for the job. If anyone else is going to get this done, pictures would be appreciated

Steve is a mixed bag at best. Some people here love him. Some don't. Some people have been told that he will honor discounts. Others, not so much. I had a bad experience with Steve. Follow-up is NOT his forte. He'll get no defense from me. Watch your step.

I called Steve a few minutes ago and I am still at 3000 and have been for over a month. The last update I got was from GM was about 2 weeks ago and they had given me a TPW of the 2nd week of May. Guess I will wait a while and check on this some time next week.

Not so good news: I found out by emailing Steve to add two options(IOM interior and polished wheels). When he emailed me back he said he couldn't add the options because my order was pulled on April 2nd.

That sucks because I was going back and forth on my decision of black interior or IOM and finally decided on IOM. I was gonna go with the midnight silver wheels because eventually I will go aftermarket. That was until I saw them and the polished in person at the NY auto show and decided on the polished.

Its my fault because even though I told Steve at the end of March I might want to add options, but was waiting for the NY auto show to see them in person before making a decision, I also told him to submit my order as soon as possible.
Is there anyway I can get the options added? Regardless, this is me right now

Yes. It is a bit difficult but it can be done. If you really want it you should go for it. It will be worth it to you.

Too late. I'm at 3300. Steve tried to get the options added while my order was at 3000, but he couldn't.

Yeah, he's not the best at following up. I send him an email on Sunday asking him to let me know whenever my event code changes and still have not heard back from him. He's the sales manager and I guess he gets really busy. I really don't care as long as my car is delivered to me with the price we agreed on.

I pm'd one of our forum dealers. Went to 3300 on 4/23. I don't understand why Max is at 3000. He should have a vin by now. These smilies represent the ordering process

I am glad to hear your car is moving, I do not understand why mine is still at 3000 either. When I spoke to GM at the 800 number a couple of weeks ago they said my TPW was the 2nd week in May, but since then I have tried to call them back but have gotten no more information at all. Steve and the inventory manager are the the only ones to give me the status of 3000. GM will not give any information period since my first call when the gave me the TPW of the 2nd week of May. It is like they have been told not to give out any more information on TPWs. We will just have to wait and see what happens over the next couple of weeks.
