The Day has Arrived!!!
Finally picked up my baby!! Its my brand new imperial blue metallic with the hockey stripe package. I had them leave off the hood and deck stripe because I thought it made it look a lot "cleaner" so to speak.

Here's a couple more pictures of my new toy right off of the truck.
As soon as the dealer called me and told me it had arrived, I was there in minutes to see it and get pics of it. I've never been that excited!!

RRCAMARO took delivery of his new IOM Last week. We went to lunch together (thanks for lunch Raymond!) and when he dropped me off at the dealership he asked me to get some "pull" and get his car delivered faster, of course with my connections with GM (cough bs cough), I got it done. Less than 30 seconds (I swear I am not exaggerating!) after RRCAMARO left the lot I watched his car pull in. I posted a mess of photos in another post titled posting pictures, so you can view the entire experience from the truck to the customer if interested.

Here is RRCamaro in our shop while the PDI is completed, Jack our PDI Tech was happy to oblize an excited new Camaro owner. RR didn't even mind the new plastic seat covers we provided at no extra charge! LOL

Last Thursday was the DAY!!!
I Picked it up around 10:00am 6/25/09. I'm still in la la land!!! I have the FRIST CMG in the Bay Area!!!!

1SS CGM in Houston
Date of Delivery: 26Jun09
Dealership/City: Lone Star Chevrolet, Jersey Village, TX Model/Trim/Options: 1SS CGM Took delivery last Friday. I ordered it in March and have been impatiently waiting since. I know that there are still a few that ordered in October of last year, so I consider myself lucky. I've only seen a few Camaros in the wild, so I do get quite a few stares, comments, and thumbs up. I love the car. |

Ordered 3/16, Cancelled 6/30, Delivered 7/1. . .
As the title reads, I put a deposit on a 2SS on 3/16. As of 6/30, I was still at 1100 and getting excuses from my dealer, so I cancelled. So I went shopping for a new dealer, and the second one I called had a 2SS on the lot from a cancelled order.
2SS Blk, Grey Leather VIN# 2G1FT1EW2A9111069 William L Morris Chevy, Fillmore, CA (GREAT F^&%ING DEALER!) The drive from the dealer to my house includes 7 miles of hairpin turns through a sandstone canyon. Talk about an excellent way to get to know the new ride! Finally !!!!!
My wife ( and I : ) ) finally took delivery of her CGM 2SS/RS last night !!!
We picked it up from Hanlees Chevrolet in Davis at msrp, we had no deposit, no contract, just a handshake from Dave Estacio and everything went great, the car seemed to take forever to get here but the deal was solid, and went through without a hitch. Dave even made sure that the stripes got installed by an outside contractor, someone who specialized in this stuff so it got done right. It looks great !!! I hope to post some pics soon, the problem is that it was too dark to get anything good when we picked it up and I haven't been able to get my wife to slow down long enough to take a few pictures to post.  edit : Finally got some pics taken to upload yesterday (7/25 ), took me long enough !!! Only a couple of the exterior, and one of the interior showing that you can get a carseat in there ....

New Camaro
Its crazy I cancelled my camaro order becouse the dealership said that i wouldnt get the car till september. I went to visit my mom in Salem indiana and they had 4 on the lot and there was even one on the used car lot. I bought mine right off the lot for 38,000 Loving it inferno orange with inferno orange interior shes a sweet one

Finally
It is Here!!!! A year in Afghanistan, on a COP in the middle of the desert, finally paid off. My New Camrao SS/RS is in and I couldnt be happier!!!
