I would so wait for a 1LE with a 427...

WTF am I supposed to do? The 1LE will be here in a week or two... I hope it times out that I get to see what is coming before I sign on the dotted line. damn, Damn, DAMN!

i feel ya man im loving my 1le but if the ls7 goes into a camaro it better be outside of my price range. i had check for 42k and a private offer when i went to the dealer. 37500 later i got my 1le. im probably one of very few that hopes i coulndt have afforded a 2014 z28

I'm feeling the same way... My biggest concern is how much am I willing to pay for a Camaro. They were waiving a 2012 ZL1 in my face... They had it down to about $53K I didn't bite. Maybe I should have.

If everyone were to wait to buy based on rumors of what MIGHT come out next year then you would probably never buy and the Camaro would cease to exist again. Don't wait to buy based on rumors or someone's guesses. You know what is available today you can bank on that.

Both of you guys suck! lol Normally I'm not one to worry about such things. The problem for me at least is that they literally could announce something in my price range AND more desirable days after I sign the papers for the 1LE.

And on another note before i forget i think this show will be where they announce the 2013 GM performance catalog....................................AGAIN

but with prices this time. this would be in line with the "prices will be available late first quarter 2013"

Then again you could back out on the deal now and then there is no LS7 in the 2014... Then what would you do?

I wouldn't back out unless I knew that something better was coming.

How's it work? You can start ordering the next model year in June or July? Up until now I've only bought what was on the lot... or a dealer trade.

I'm not losing this car unless it's for a sure thing.

Some dealers will make a early order list that you can sign up on for upcoming models before actual ordering starts. Then when they get all the pricing and options they call you and you come in and place your order.
