It's a decent refresh imo. I wish they wouldn't have messed with the rearend though. I'll keep my 2011.

Not only bumper but I would bet no heat extractor hood either.

I said the exact same thing... looks like Chevy is following in the footsteps of the Mustang evolution: add more body creases and make tail-light changes The main grill/headlight area doesn't look bad, but the painted bumper area between the upper and lower grills looks awkwardly big now. The hood vent looks like a cheap add on... at least on the C7 the lines of the hood help integrate it (but still sticks out IMO). The tail-lights are the ones from the Euro-spec Camaro (if someone hasn't already pointed that out) so I would expect the bumper to be pretty similar. I will be interested to see if there are any interior changes and what changes will be made to the ZL1 since it already looks great to me. So far I'm still happy with my 2011

I just don't like the new tail lights so far. Maybe I can get used to them when I see the actual car. Rest of it looks good.

Went several steps backwards with this. The stupid small hood scoop looks so silly. And the front fascia looks all scrunched in. Tail lights look aweful. The current Camaro looks tons better..I would never trade in for this..yuck!

Ok........so at least (since I have one) the 2SS engine is the same HP at 426
The tail lights are different for 2014 -- so now the Camaro/Vette has the same design of lights in the rear as the .... 2013 Malibu..... And the front now looks like a ZL1 with the fog light holes and the hood scoop. So really, there's no difference between the ZL1 styling and a 2SS. At least if you are shelling out $$ for a sports car, make it distinctive in the style department - as in don't (or try not to) use the same design elements as the Malibu. Why bother then you know? I'm not impressed; like the other poster said -- I'll keep my '11 vert and not feel (finally) like I should've waited and waited, you know? |

I tried to tell everyone not to expect major changes.... And not be dissapointed if you don't get what you want.
That being said there is no reason to say there won't be a mid year special edition model that may have the LS7 or other engine choice. Stay tuned, we may get more information at the ACTUAL REVEAL tomorrow.
