I first posted in this thread a little over 2 years ago. I still have my convertible and it's still bone stock like the day I bought her.

I know this may sound foolish, but I am afraid that i will screw something up. Why spend more money to make my car worth less?

I believe the more knowledgeable I get the more confidence I would have with add ons. But for now I like the way GM built it and I see too many of my friends spend thousands and it is in the shop all of the time.

Mine is stock and will most likely stay that way. It's the fastest thing I've ever driven as it is and that's fast enough. Speeding tickets are very expensive here in Massachusetts. I also love the way my car looks and don't really have a want to change it. Only thing I could see myself wanting is a short shifter for improved drivability.

Same here, Baba! Edit: Oh wait, SS door plates to cover scratches. And front license plate carriage bolts. But that's it!

this is how i see it.

why throw money away..modding just devalues your investment..i prefer to save up and buy a better car..some folk go way ott on modding and ruin a perfect car imho

Both of my gen 5, convertible 2SS 2011 and 2SS coupe 2015, ordered them both the way I wanted them, '15 is commemorative edition and should stay the way it was delivered, just my opinion! IF, and that's a big IF, I would ever sell one, mods are in the eye of the beholder kinda thing, factory stock holds more value, again my opinion!

Mine is still as she left the dealer. It does have the 5.1 short shift kit not sure if that was dealer or factory installed. I have the CAGS defeat plug sitting in my glove box. I do want to install that.

I'd love to do some engine mods but when I start thinking about what I want to do I always come to the conclusion that I'd be better off just selling and getting a ZL1.

Still completely stock. I don't want any reason for the dealership to not warranty the car if something happens. When the warranty runs out, all bets are off...if I have it that long. I have a very bad habit of not keeping cars around for very long.

At least 15 people in my Camaro Club have vertical doors and are trying to convince me to get them. I really have NO desire for vertical doors. Now some under lighting...maybe....but no VD for me

I put GM all weather floor mats. The wife is still waiting for the other shoe to drop, but I want to leave it alone.
