http://www.elbestbuy.com/elwire2.html

They call it "tail wire"

Did you have to sand the edges of the green trim?

Blacky, that looks AWESOME!!!!!!!!

Shouldn't you be able to dim the lights using the light switch dimmer on the left of the steering wheel? You just need to be tapped into the right wire, is all. Also, if it's too bright, maybe you can put some sort of in line resistor?

Damn man, I wanna do this mod but I plan to switch out the entire interior with the carbon fiber pieces (overlayed). They don't have a carbon fiber dash piece yet that is setup for ABL and I can't necessarily sand it down I don't think like the paint. I would kill to have it setup like that when finished. Unless all of you have any suggestions.

Blacky. Awesome, love it. My interior is blue like that too, the ABL would be pretty sweet to finish it off. Did you use blue EL wiring?

Anyone know how hard it would be to use this to replace my factory ABL so I can do the doors and dash with the tail wire?

Blacky, you had to do doors and dash seperate I take it, how did you hook it into the inverter box and did you only need one box? I'm confused to how I can wire it similiar to yours on the factory line.

That does actually, and the door window wiring keeps the ABL on door panels on nonstop or only when you turn on headlights? Kind of curious about that. Sorry for all the questions, I think I just about got it now.
