We picked up our camaro today and had a fabulous ride home. The car is my husband's but we have been through this long wait together (ordering, picking our the color, stripes, tracking, etc) and I can't describe the joy of actually having this car home. I am thrilled that my husband has finally gotten his dream car after years of driving clunkers - It was truly a pleasure watching him drive it home and seeing the happiness on his face. I think I was as excited as he was - on second thought, probably not. It is now safely parked in the garage and we will wait for snowy days and salty roads to end so that the fun of driving it can truly begin. Until then, we will continue to stare at it and appreciate its beauty. Best of luck to all who have received their cars and may delivery come soon for those who are waiting for this awesome car.

Rail car status is "Empty - Released by Customer"

I guess the released by customer means, that its on its way to the dealership

I will have my car this week now

And I am going to Charleston for sho!!

Ahh I'm losing it haha wifes sending me
pictures of my car waiting at the dealership (she works there) still with all the packing stuff on it waitin til I get out of the field next week to pick her up! This wait is the worst by far!

Went and paid for mine on Friday. Met Scotty and the gang at Newman Chevrolet and what a rush it was. From meeting Scotty and everyone to seeing the car on the lift and the Hurst Shifter being installed,etc It was an awesome Friday afternoon. Will be going back on Wednesday morning with the enclosed trailer to pick it up. I tried putting a few pics up of when it was on the lift but I get a message saying something about a security token is missing? Any help?

As for the security token, either refresh the page or logout and log back in.

Thanks for the suggestion Blade. My problem was the pics were to big. They work now. They are in the picture section in a thread Scotty started with my delivery video(and he did a damn fine job of it if I may say so). I will have more up after Wednesday when I go with the trailer to pick it up.

LMAO Well,we live about an hour north of Newman Chevrolet so we drove down there Friday afternoon. After we paid for it we continued on south to Chicago and went to the Auto Show on Saturday. Soonest I can get my trailer guy is Wednesday morning to get it picked up. From the dealersip it is going straight to the paint shop. It probably wont be home until Saturday if not later.

This has been like the weirdest thing. My car was arguably the first to be produced out of this group and think the last delivered. There were so many issues, with weather and the slow rail system. I am just glad I can finally drive it
