ok so I was quoted a price $300 over invoice. My total was 36,002.25. 2SS RS with a sunroof ($900) and wheels ($470). So I do the math and come up with $33,132.75. I also looked at his computer screen and it looks like im getting it 300 over list..... Is this correct or no?
O yea my out the door total with tax, dock fee, and tags was $39,331.08 2SS/RS CMG Sunroof Polished Aluminum Wheels Last edited by Jonas; 08-04-2009 at 11:26 PM. |

My dealer wouldn't honor the credit union discount either, although he's not charging over MSRP. Bummer....I know I could've waited and got a better deal, but I really want it now.

Hi first time posting, I have a 2003 Evo 8 and I have been thinking of getting a new car for a little while and I'm really loving the new camaro. I haven't seen one in person yet, I have been on this site and the Chevy site looking at prices to get an idea. Last week I called the local dealership and asked them how much for a top of the line with all options and they told me $48,000. WTF Do they just have the price that high of over the reg price?

I built a LS3 2SS w/RS polished wheels and sunroof. nothing else
chevy.com says its $37,165 with my 850 destination charge my friend at a dealership quoted me supplier cost of $35,939.82 I was on the phone with him when he put it together. from my calculations of the info listed in this post, the car should cost me $35,338.08 with dest charge. where could this $601.74 be comming from? unless prices or %'s went up again . |

I was talking with some friends today and they were saying that GM is now installing the back up sesors on the new camaros being produce now as a standard option. I don't know if this is true or not. My camaro is in production now and was just wondering if it would get it or not, think that would be great. I have them on my Ford Excursion diesel and we love it. Thoughts on if this is true or not?

Can Someone please help me!!!!
I ordered a 2LT RS Package Aqua Blue with Gray Interior camaro with Auto transmission with tap shift. and they said $30,360. but when i calculated on the internet its shows my order to come out to 30,160 w/ the $850.00 charge so where is the $200.00 coming from? I ordered on 9/14/09 so did i get ripped off? or is the pricing right? Cuz My dealer (Classic Chevy in Sugar Land, TX) said they r only selling them for MSRP and nothing more. And thats a good question Moorej4 i would also like to know if they r adding the back up sensors as a standard feature or not. Thanks everyone!! Last edited by Sevn86; 09-21-2009 at 02:41 AM. 850.00 is the "new" charge for shipping. This is not the same as the sensors which the dealer's are required to contact all customers to get their approval on the increase for this standard option. The shipping charge increased roughly after Sept 1, 2009 and everyone is paying for it. The sensors are being installed only on orders which were not in 2000 status as of 082809. Any factory orders or "sold" orders (which most of us are) which went into 2000 event status after 082809 are having the sensors installed as a standard option and the price increase is passed along to the customer.
Here's one thread that first announced the shipping increase: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40584 Last edited by sstx; 09-22-2009 at 04:45 PM. |
