IMO I would rather have a cheaper car that blows yours out of the water while you sit there and tell yourself "Well mine is the ultimate driving machine." (Not to bash BMW because I understand you pay for more than performance, but don't act like the car is the best in class.)
You are so missing the point. I don't care how it performs around a TRACK, reason is I WILL NEVER RACE MINE AROUND A TRACK. Why do you have to buy a certain car and care about every aspect when you aren't going to use it for that. People buy H2 Hummers and never use them once for what they are made for so whats the difference with performance cars.

Geezz thats like saying every person that buys a Ferrari, Lambo, BV, SLR or other supercar buys them because of the performance. We know that ain't true just look at all the celebrities and other filithy rich that know nothing of the car and buy them just because they show how much money they have. Come on think outside of these forums for one second. Not everyone buys performance cars just to race the hell out of them and not everyone cares about their freakin lap times whats so hard to get about that.

And how am I bias towards a certain company. If that was true I guess I wouldn't own a Camaro, GTO, Chrysler, Saturn, BMW and former Porsche. I'm not bias towards any company, I buy what I like. Nice way to read into things the wrong way. And you are killing my with the stupid slogan that BMW uses, I could care less about a silly commerical line. And find where I said the M6 was the best in its class. Thats right you won't find that written anywhere.

I beg to differ. I firmly believe that most people who buy the H2 do indeed use it for what it was intended, shopping at the mall. While they are more capable then their cousin, the Tahoe, neither are aimed at the off road crowd. Now if you had said the buyers of the H1, I would have wholeheartily agreed. Though I do know one young man who spent the $120k on a H1 Alpha and used it as it was intended. It took his shop over 8 hours to get all the mud and crap off!

Okay, back to our regularly scheduled bickering, lol!!

Yeah, you know what I was getting at though. This other guy just can't seem to understand that everyone isn't a race freak and buy these cars just to race him. He fails to realize a lot of owners buy them just to look good in them.

I think you see where this is going
This right here is win. Especially because the sarcasm couldn't be conveyed over the internet. He said Cadillac had never made a competitive sports sedan before. I sarcastically said, "Yea, because there wasn't a CTS-V in 2004, or an STS-V."
Maybe I should have put the to convey it, but I would think anybody with half a brain would have figured that out.

Not true at all. Most people who buy those cars buy them because they are the top of the line in that particular model. Do you know how many AMG's, M's, Bugatti's, Ferrari's, Porsches and other cars will never be driven to their potential. Most are merely a sign of the owners wealth. Most are left to highway blasts and smoke shows from stoplights.

So, according to you, we shouldn't buy cars based off of our opinions, we should buy them based off of lap times?

Hey man its useless don't try and explain that these people will blast you for buying a high performance and not using it to its full potential. To them all that matter is lap times, 1/4 times and who has the bigger engine. Damn shame if you ask me. And will call you bias towards a company when its clear you own cars from a lot of different companies.

My bmw loving partner almost roped me into buying an M3, but Like all bmw's ,to me it's not good looking enough. I do believe the M6 looks the best out of all of them but their're still not my cup of tea. over all I know the M3 is a better car than the SS ,but it doesn't have that wow factor that the ss has. So, I went with the SS. Hell, I bought a 2lt and SS for the price of the M3. He tell's me that my camaro isn't even good enough to be parked beside his 650. That's when I tell him let's line them up. Then he shuts up pretty quick.

the reason I ask is because you both seem to be on the same intelligence level.

Also, sorry to break it to you, but your car has no balls.
Hey, atleast I didn't have an official news report released about my intelligence...

Yeah he is a bit to cocky. One day my SS will make it down from Michigan to its second home in AZ and be parked right next to my M6. They will look at each other and everything will be fine.
