Here are some brighter bulbs you can buy. They come in Super-white or

Tom, they shouldn't melt the coating. They are just brighter and whiter than the non RS headlights. But still the same wattage.
And thanks for asking Tom, I've been fine. I'm in Yuma, AZ for the winter, enjoying an extended Camaro and Harley season. I'm headed to Tucson tomorrow for a car show and racing at Southwest International Dragway, supposed to be in the 80's there.

If I was a wannabe RS, I'd have had my tailights tinted and my roof gutter moulding painted body color, when my car was being painted. And, I haven't changed out my headlights either. I was just answering Tom's question about brighter bulbs.
I do have a non RS Larry, and still don't see the reason to buy a $1300 RS package just to get tinted tailights, that nobody notices. And very expensive headlights that just a $39.95 replacement bulb will duplicate, as far as light output.
Just wait til those HID's start burning out in a few years and you have to spend hundreds for a bulb. Besides, most of you don't even drive after dark.
A bunch of you RS owners are trying to be like us non RS owners by spending big bucks to make your daytime running lights come on like our fog lights already do.

You will have to wait until April-May until my "reveal". Only three other people know, so I would like to keep it under wraps until I get it done...and figured out. I would like to at least have something very unique for next year, as I have not seen these mods anywhere else in the 5th Gen community, especially around here.
With my luck, a dozen other Camaros will have this next year, but I'm committed to the cause at this point!

See you at the first Golden Super Cruise in May or Cars and Coffee in April!!

Rob
Rob,

Are you taking your "reveal" to the Camaro5fest in April?

Garth

No. Doesn't look to be in the cards at this point. I'm still way behind working on a customer's 67 RS\SS, which is holding up my car. Besides, you guys took all the premo hotel rooms, so there'd be no place to stay. If I get real, real lucky, I might make it, as I have an old Army buddy that lives in Phoenix that I could hit up last minute for a place to stay, but we'll see. Got a lot of work to do before April, and 40 degree temps in my garage ain't exactly helping the cause.

I'm looking to do something a little more "out of the box" on my rig, so if anyone local is interested, just PM me.

You autos should have your own category. Had I know I was going to end up racing this car I would have gone auto. So much easier to drive at the track. Almost too easy, doesn't take brain power...just step on gas and go. Your program even makes it easier for you to do that with little tweaks. Now the manual takes some real skill to drive, without the help from programs that tweak your tranny and make it easier for you. Isn't an auto for those challenge with doing more than 1 thing at a time?

**** NOTE*****
This is just a bust on Kirk not auto's. I don't want the auto crowd to stuff me in my trunk the next time you see me
