Please take time today to decorate a grave, thank a vet, or say a prayer for our troops. I lost a brother in Vietnam, and a buddy Grenada. God bless America.

Yeh, this was my first paint job on anything (car related). I just got tape and newspaper and taped it off. my only problem was I didnt use automotive panters tape and it pulled some of the factory grey up in a couple small spots. I just wiped it down with a couple alcohol wipes. i used the hi-temp engine/header paint from pep boys ( Chevrolet Red-Orange of course) in a spray can. I put 5 or 6 light coats on it over about a week. Man, untapeing that thing was like Christmas morning. The parts that I painted were pretty pourouse <spck> so I guess as long as its good and clean, the paint stuck pretty good. Paitence during the tape process is the most important part IMO. I'm ready to stripe my hood now!!!! JK

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

I got there about 4:30 last week and it was still pretty dead but there were cars there. It got going pretty good by 5:30 then we went to dinner about 8:00. It is the KMart off Indian Ripple accross from The Greene. 75 north the 675 north to Indian Ripple exit, left off the ramp and its on the right.

I had a great time Friday and The Greene was awsome! I can't wait to go back. I told the Mrs. all about it and she is very interested in doing the Kmart thing followed by dinner/shopping at The Greene.

Weather is looking iffy for cruise-ins this week.

I've learned of a Thursday evening cruise-in at the Der Dutchman at 230 N State Route 42 in Waynesville, OH if anyone is ever interested. For those guys down in bear area, it should be about a 15 minute shorter drive.

Always loved going to Der Dutchman. I never leave there with out some goodies from the bakery.

Question Unfortunate Question

Well...Friday it appears that someone in my parking garage backed up into my front clip There are about 3-4 chips and lots of scratches to the right of my license plate bracket.

I was wondering if anyone here could recommend a good paint guy in the Columbus area.

I think it could be done with some touch up paint and some wet sanding, but I'm nowhere near that confident. I just now built up enough courage to use my porter cable on it.

Thanks!

Where'd you guys end up eating Friday. After I picked up my wife we ended up going to McCormick & Schmick's at the Greene. Was hoping to see some of you walking around the streets.

I have used this guy before and I was happy with the work.
