From what I understand the reasoning was to just group all the lounges into Off Topic?

I understand where mikey is coming from. there was no reason to move the v8 and v6 lounges...unless someone complained...

I mean, why do you need to "clean up" a thread, when there's nothing to clean up?

That's what I thought too. Unless I missed something.

I just think this whole thing is being blown way out of proportions by everyone. Mods and members.

Keep in the elevation here is over 1300 meters, we do have 94 octane but its mixed with ethenol and not widely available so I run 91/92 octane sometimes. I also have a K&N cai and I have no other mods at the time.

I thought I would have more power to the ground. It's also a lot quieter then I thought. I decided to go with the street series because I don't want any drone. It sounds good but really tame at idle. I had a muffler delete before this. I think I'm going to remove the middle resonator on cb system to give it more of a growl at idle.

How do those numbers sound to you?
#s look fine, going to offroad pipes vs the HFC's might give you a few more ponies as well..And a better non K&N CAI wouldn't be a bad idea. They look nice, thats about it.

Take a look (if you are willing to part ways with it) at the Cold Air Inductions, Vararam or Rotofab or also RacnJacn is working on a "JacFab" CAI that looks really promising.

All will blow the K&N product out of of the water.

And yea resonator delete will make it a little louder, so will switching from HFC to Offroad. The Street Series is a "quiet" catback...

Well, I think it's like the Men's Lounge. If it was in a subforum dedicated just to men, and the mods noticed that it was just becoming another PWA Lounge, they'd move it to Off Topic too.

I don't know. I agree with Jordan that people are kinda overreacting on both sides.

why not just merge all the threads then?

for me, i'm getting confused as to what thread is which, between the v6 lounge and the pwa lounge. lol I have to remember which thread i'm about to click on, now that they are right next to each other.

Probably because they all do have a certain focus or at least certain group of members posting in each one.

Check the V8 help desk to see what's been going on. Some stuff got deleted already though.

This ^^^
We had a dynamic going in this thread and it lost its context with the move over here.

well, then all those people can post in a mega thread, and the thread will move like the old pwa threads used to move.

I agree, and now off topic is flooded with lounges.

Are there any NA motors putting 500HP to the ground?

If so, can you share the raod map to get there.

Thanks.

I should also mention that I outlined my plan/compromise in the V8 help desk near the bottom of page 3.

and if they are cleaning up the lounge threads, they should delete all the women that post in the mens lounge, and all the men that post in the ladies lounge.

do I think they should? no. but that's how extreme the mod/s are getting.

On the LS3 there is. Not up on my L99 knowledge though.
Headers, CAI, cam, and head work should get an LS3 there.
