I've seen those type of statistics.

One of the biggest, if not THE biggest, problem is that there is no way to record how many scumbags are deterred from one victim to move to another because of the gun that would be victim has. Or how many crimes are thwarted by the gun owner where nobody is actually shot. And further, how much MORE violent the crime or attempt would have been minus a legal defensive gun or threat of.

ALL of the shootings are recorded. Very few of the preventive gun actions are.

Need some advice from you gun experts. Looking to buy an AR variant, the local gun range (usually had 2-3 dozen rifles) only has 1 atm. There's a 80 person wait list for any AR's. So that leads me to my question of where I should buy one. I've been looking on gunbroker.com but how tusted is that site? I always question online auctions where I cannot see the product before I buy it.
